Ok I'll admit, i didn't know what to expect going into Landsharks. My friend and I were under the impression that it was a restaurant not a bar and a restaurant. No big deal just taken by surprise. This is also located on Harbor Boulevard. We parked in the rear which really that's all there is and some off to the side. In the same area as Boathouse Oyster Bar and Restaurant. We entered the back door and going in the place was dark just like a typical dive bar which took us by surprise no complaints there. We were seated promptly at a table vs bar. As we're seated our waiter took our drink order. We browsed the menu get the cheese breadsticks as appetizer. We eventually decide what pizza to go with so we go with a small meats pizza. Chest breadsticks come out first and OMG, the best ever!!! Baked to perfection with the right amount of cheese I can say the same thing about the pizza except they put the right amount of meat on there. Pizza sauce was phenomenal. This is definitely one of the best pizza places in Destin. Must visit if you are a pizza lover. Our waiter was absolutely amazing. Wish I caught his name. We come here to watch Packer games when we can't get them on tv in the condo. This is a new location as they were located in Destin previously. There were 8 of us in our party. We started with fried dill pickles with dip and they were delicious. We also had the pretzels with cheese dip. You get two large baked pretzels which are soft and chewy and a beer cheese dip that is tasty. For half time we ordered 3 pizzas. Sadly I was into The game and forgot to take pictures. The pizzas are very tasty although a few of us agreed that the crust end was too thick. Note: They do not serve glasses with your pitcher of beer on game day. We were told that it was too busy for the bar tender to keep up. One of us offered to buy a glass as he does not like to drink his beer out of plastic cups. We had a good meal at land sharks, my son is a Green Bay Packers fan and since this is a Packers Backers place, we had to go in and eat some cheese curds. The pizza was really good. The wings and the wing sauce were stellar, the wing sauce is homemade Service was friendly and snarky just like we like. It's a good solid choice. This place was recommended by some folks who have visited Destin before, so my friend and I decided to give it a try for lunch. It was a really great decision. The atmosphere has a lot of football memorabilia around the walls and lots of TVs to catch a game. A large beer list as well as a full bar. The staff was very friendly and recommended things from the menu as well. For an appetizer, we got the fried pickle chips that came with a side of ranch. They were pretty good. Not greasy and had a nice, well seasoned breading. We went with sandwiches for lunch. I had the Philly sub sandwich, which was delicious. The bread was soft, the steak was perfectly sliced, and it was very filling. The fries were also really good and fresh. My friend got the glen sub which has chicken tenders covered in Buffalo sauce with cheese. He really enjoyed his sandwich as well. We both would highly recommend this place! We were finally told by a bartender or waitress 45min wait, however no one to take our name or how many in the party. It was crowded & appeared understaffed, much like most restaurants today. First time there, so I don't know about Destin, but this place needs help. Finally got a table after we went & asked. I noticed this location had many health code violations, They've done nothing to improve the interior. Floors were dirty, bathroom had paint peeling off walls. No latch on bathroom stall. We stopped here for lunch while on vacation. It was recommended to us from someone back home that had been here. It's a total dive bar and the staff is not that friendly. However, the food was excellent. We came in for a late lunch and the place was packed. We got the last table. My boyfriend wanted one of the burgers that he saw pictured on Yelp. Well, they must have changed their menu since then because they do not have any burgers. He split a Supreme pizza with me instead. I also got a side salad. Both were very good. Best compliment I can give this place is the kids loved it! Seriously, our four year old ate half a small pizza on her own. Our 7 year old, who is notoriously picky, also loved it. The pizza is pretty darn good. The cheese curds were terrific. And, the house made Ranch dressing was awesome. They also have a nice selection of local beers and a well stocked bar. Inside, it strikes me as a happy medium between a local joint and a tourist locale. This isn't an easy thing to do, but they have done it. We, 5 large humans, stopped in Thursday evening. Stood at the door for 9 minutes waiting to be seated. We could see that they were busy and that there likely wasn't a table available yet. The problem was that in the 9 minutes we stood there, not a single person said a word to us or recognized us. A simple "hi, we will get to you when we can" would have sufficed. Went on a Saturday night, two servers, so your mileage may vary on a week-night. Service was passable, given the staffing issue. But, the kitchen was in complete disarray. 5 people - 3 ordered sandwiches, two ordered personal pizzas. The sandwiches arrived and the pizzas didn't. Then, another table that sat after us, had their pizzas while ours were missing. Asked server and she said, "sometimes pizzas take longer." 30 minutes after the sandwiches arrived, the pizzas arrived. Frankly, the "meatball sub was mediocre. Not impressed! Someone tried to tell me this was the best pizza around and they sit on a throw of lies. It was cooked all the way which was nice but it had a very cheap dough flavor; like Pillsbury pizza dough. The Wings were ok, a bit dry/ over cooked. The tea is just brown water. The service pretty bad for at least us. It seemed like the guys got better service then us. We are Pleasant and never got upset with the bartender over it. I was in town on business for several weeks and stopped in on the first day. Food was great and the staff super friendly. They also are a sports bar so I asked about my local team and they were very accommodating. There was a time when I enjoyed the wings here but it's been a few years since I was last here. Place was busy. About a 15 min wait before we were seated. Hostess initially asked us if we wanted the bar when we first told her there were 3 kids in our party. She turned out to be our server, didn't catch the name, older lady, not ver personable, gruff and to the point. We were told it'd be 45 min if we wanted pizza. Ordered wings and took about 45 min. This has been a stop two years running for our fall vacation and if we return to Destin next year, there will be a third. The beer list is pretty extensive with a lot of local offerings on tap. Drink prices seem below the norm for the area and our service has always been prompt and attentive. We enjoyed the garlic bread with cheese at the recommendation of our waiter and the Landshark' pizza was hot and plentiful. It seems to be a place the locals go. read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Service was slow and low quality, and one of the employees had their phone synced to the speakers and you could hear the typing sound clicking every time they texted. After 30 minutes we got our large cheese pizza. It was undercooked and of course we could never get the waiters attention. This place is so amazing we went to the local Whataburger afterwards. At Whataburger I would recommend the Bacon Bleu Cheeseburger! It comes perfectly prepared with 2 never frozen patties that melt in your mouth with a bleu cheese sauce that is worth writing mama about. On the other hand, after a 75 minute wait we had to ask about our pizza which was clearly forgotten about.
