They completely replaced my furnace within the week of me putting in my request. I have never waited more than 10-15 minutes to get a reply back from Andrew when I have any questions which is incredible compared to the last place I rented from that took months to fix my air conditioner. I'm not sure with what's going on with these other reviews but I know my experience has been incredibly positive and everyone I have interacted with have been very kind and helpful. Andrew is the best type of landlord where he is not interested in being friends. He just does his job and as long as you pay rent and follow your lease he also keeps his word.

Did not fix what was listed on the Granville inspection even 6 months after. He will change the code/locks on you before the lease is up. Keep the lease with you. Not a bad transition between dorm life and apartment/solo living. However that's about where my…read moregood review stops. Disgusting, out of date appliances that require maintenance often and usually require maintenance again, plumbing that is subpar (tub and sink take hours to drain after a shower and after having maintenance say it's okay), the pool which was a big selling point for me not being open majority of the summer, and just a general weed stench in most of the hallways. No elevator in building B so good luck moving your stuff and if you're in building A, have fun having a literal brick wall as a view. There are also random charges in your account with no explanation, usually only around $20-60 but annoying nonetheless. Staff are very nice however. Money goes towards recruitment and retention efforts with cute activities but not towards keeping the building in repair.

It's overpriced for what you get. The apartment was not cleaned at all and absolutely disgusting when we moved in. Maintenance staff doesn't do shit around here no matter how many requests you put in. My toilet has been leaking and has had mold behind it since I moved in. Have put in multiple requests yet nothing has been done. I have expressed to them that I keep getting sick from the mold but they couldn't care less. Poorly run operation and a terrible company. Avoid at all costs.

When I moved in, the carpets were so dirty that our feet turned black from walking. I had to call and email non stop to get them to hire a company to come clean. At first they were trying to get me to pay for it myself. Besides that, the wall paper is peeling off, bathroom has poor ventilation and there is mold. Someone broke into my apartment in 2025 at night and I got it on my ring camera. I can to leasing office first thing the next day and the person working in the office (Molly) tried to at first say that I had left the door unlocked. I had to sit in leasing office for over an hour to demand for the locks to be changed by maintenance that same day, because she tried to tell me nobody was available to change the locks until the following day. My locks did get changed after sitting there until someone helped me. Now as of 2026, my biggest issue this spring is that they never have the grass mowed. It is May 2026 and the grass has only been mowed twice so far. The grass was practically a foot tall, they finally got it mowed but didn't bag the grass and so there's clumps of grass everywhere. Since then they have only mowed one other time. With how bad ticks are this season, it is a huge issue for residents with pets having to walk through extremely tall grass. We pay too much to not have the grass mowed. Wouldn't recommend living here.

I'm giving the Domain two stars because my first two years of living there went pretty well...then,…read moreGreystar took over. I'll skip over the small, nit-picky details in favor of the grand finale. During my senior year at WVU, the winter was especially cold in that we were in negative temperatures for a span of several days. Well, one evening the water in my bathroom sink stopped running. I put in a maintenance request, listed it as high priority, and moved along. The next evening it still wasn't working, I checked my maintenance request and it had been somehow downgraded in priority, so I gave maintenance a call. No one answered and since my tub still had running water it didn't fall under their guidelines for "emergency maintenance", so I left a message and that was that. At least until morning. I woke up to the small hiss I recognize as a water leak. So, dreading what I would see, I rolled over to look into my bathroom. My completely flooded third floor bathroom. I checked under the sink to turn off the water, but the leak wasn't there. We'd never been told where the shutoff for our unit was, so my next hope was to call emergency maintenance. No one answered. Next, I called the office. It was a Saturday at about 9:30, and there was no one in the office until 11, hence no one answered. Finally I called my parents, but I'd run through all the steps I could and just had to wait. Fast forward to say the water got turned off and a burst pipe was discovered. The same day, they proceeded to totally rip out my bathroom floor, vanity, and part of the wall. Then since the carpet in my bedroom also got wet, they did the same to my entire bedroom. Thus began the two month stent of me not having my own apartment during my senior year of engineering. I'll summarize those two months to keep it short: they paid for a hotel for three nights but then moved me into an 4 person apartment with two strangers (I had a three-bedroom with one other girl), ignored my complaints that the new place would bother my (severe) allergies and tried to blame my complaint on social awkwardness, wouldn't reduce my rent or electric bill despite the construction happening in my apartment while I crashed at a friend's place, and once I did move back in I discovered there was already a new leak coming from my toilet. The cherry on top was that when I moved out a few months later, I was charged $160 for "repairs" to my newly renovated apartment. Of course I contested this, was in communication with Greystar for about a month with the understanding they would be back in touch once the matter was settled, and heard nothing for months. I assumed the (unreasonable) charges had been dropped. Well, the new year started (I moved out in early July) and I got a "courtesy call" warning me the debt would be reported to a collector if the issue wasn't settled immediately. In the end, I got $30 knocked off the charges. That and a couple nights in a hotel was my compensation for a several-months' long ordeal, and I've heard the people on floors below me went through worse. Only stay here if you're willing to make the gamble you'll never have to interact with management.

I leased an apartment at Domain at Town Centre, managed by Greystar, and the experience was…read moreunacceptable from start to finish. Before move-in, I was told they needed an additional week to clean and prepare the unit. When I returned, the apartment was filthy. There were muddy shoe prints on the bedroom floor, visible debris inside drawers and cabinets, cracked and separating caulking around the bathtub, water staining under the sink, peeling plaster on the bathroom ceiling, stains all over the walls, uneven and discolored paint in mismatched shades, and heavily chipped paint on the doors and trim throughout the unit. It looked poorly maintained and cosmetically covered rather than properly prepared. When I brought these issues to the front office, I was told that units are not typically cleaned outside of student turnover season, which occurs during the summer months. That directly contradicted what I had been told prior to move-in. After reading many other reviews, it appears that tenants recurrently report receiving units that were not cleaned before move-in, which suggests this is not an isolated incident. The apartment was marketed and leased to me as "renovated," at a premium rental rate. The unit I received differed dramatically from the model I toured during the leasing process. I toured twice before signing. What was delivered did not resemble what was shown. During my tenancy, I began developing unexplained bumps and later discovered a bed bug in the unit. No tenant should encounter those conditions, particularly at this price point. Due to the condition of the apartment and the discrepancies between what was represented and what was delivered, I terminated my lease. After I vacated and formally revoked ACH authorization through my bank, the property attempted to debit my account anyway. The transactions were initiated under a different company name and WEB ID than my previous authorized payments, and they attempted to run the charge more than once. My bank flagged the activity as unauthorized and opened a claim. This was not a minor inconvenience. It reflected poor preparation standards, inconsistent representations, and deeply concerning billing practices.

DO NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE. WINDOW ISSUE FOR 3 MONTHS…read more For starters when I moved in I was missing the window glass in my window. One of my light bulbs was dangling by a wire and the place was dirty. I put in the maintenance request for the window in early AUGUST. In October when I got a head cold from not having a window or even plastic over the opening. I was taking to my mom and she could tell over the phone that I was sick. I called canvas again to ask about a window and they said they didn't have any. THAT SAME DAY my mother called and they magically had a window. WIFI/CANVAS CUSTOMER SERVICE 0/10 A few weeks ago the power went out and so did the wifi because of a storm. The power came back on and the wifi did but it had no internet. I called because as a student I need wifi to do my assignment, anyways the representative answered the phone and I asked about the wifi and she tried to give me a number for the internet company to call. Note the wifi for canvas is complex wide and everyone uses it. I shouldn't have to do her job and call the provider. If I'm paying over 500 a month in rent I excepted the office of the rental place to at least have some professionalism and actually do their job. DISHWASHER/DRAIN This has been an on going problem since February, tomorrow is April. Maintenance keeps "fixing" the dishwasher when it seems to be a drain problem since we do not use the dishwasher and it keeps filling up with dirty water from the sink. It smells disgusting and is leaking onto our floors. And lastly I have complained to the leasing office about one of my roommates constantly having a guy over after I discussed with her that hes loud in the kitchen and takes up RESIDENT PARKING when he is not even a RESIDENT ( she does not have a car and have him her sticker for him to park in residential parking). Nothing ever came from this they didn't give her a warning or anything. He is still over all the time and still parking where he shouldn't. I can't move out because I would have to find someone who would want to take over my lease, pay a hefty fee and then find a new place to live. Also can't transfer to another unit in the complex because it is another hefty fee of 350 dollars on top of rent. To put it simply this place is just money hungry and does not give a single care about it's residents whatsoever.
