This place definitely has the look and style of a typical American diner, however thats about it. Service was pretty bad. We stood there for several minutes and had to ask the staff (who was just waiting around), then was told just to wait more. After we were sat, it was another bit until the waiter came around. Once we ordered, the food and drinks did come out fast. We were never checked on while we were there either. I had the special angus burger and my wife had the bacon cheese burger. Now when the food came out, it definitely looked alot better than it tasted. The size was pretty large but the fries were kind of stale and burgers were overcooked. Mine had onion rings which werent freshly made either. While it wasnt bad, its nowhere near on the list of places Id come for another burger.

Our room, number 3, had single beds that tilted and a sofa. There was a separate area with wardrobe, table and chairs. Also a side table for my laptop, with plenty of power and free encrypted wireless internet. The owner is a wonderful lady, who, although not speaking english managed to make us welcome and looked after us very well. Her son speaks english as does one fo the helpers and we had no problem with langauge at all. The guest house has its own breakfast room and offers a range of german style food including cereal, eggs with ham and sausage, juices, breads, ham and cheese. There is a separate bar and restaurant open in the evenings and the food is cooked by the owner and is excellent. My wife and I would return here in a heatbeat.
