Not only that, but apparently shipping and receiving does not verify the accuracy of product received. Delivery date was scheduled a week ahead. Two days before scheduled delivery date, i received the call informing me of 'mistake'. By the time correct order was placed, the bed had been discontinued. The story is far from over. The bed I settled for has not arrived yet!

Lest,I digress. The woman at the store was quite friendly (a huge departure from the bigger mattress store near Wal-Mart), easy-going, and sold us a mattress. She let me deposit the old mattress (circa 1974, my own personal mattress, I might add) in the junk-truck out back, and had the new one waiting by the door when I returned. Couldn't have been easier. About $400 for the set plus delivery and taking away the old set. We had to wait 2 weeks for delivery because they only deliver on Saturdays, which is fine. I understand they are a small business. Fast forward to delivery day (today). The delivery people arrived on time, they moved the mattress upstairs, but had trouble getting the box spring up my stairs because they are narrow. Instead of helping my boyfriend push the box spring up the stairs or figure out a way to get it up, they got in their truck and drove away without a word. This was also after they put a hole in my wall. They never offered us and alternative box spring or an alternative option to fix our problem. I called the manager and store owner from whom we bought the mattress. He assured me that this was not normal procedure, and would call his delivery people. A half hour goes by, and still no word from him. I called the store constantly for about 5 minutes before he finally answers the phone. He begins to berate me about how his delivery people have worked for him for 20 years, and he's never had a problem. He says that they have split box springs, and the delivery folks offered it to me. Which they absolutely did not. I asked him if there was a way to return our box spring, and get a split set. He told me he could but for an additional fee and I would have to wait another two weeks for it to be delivered. When I explained that the other box spring was damaged due to his delivery people, he accused me of lying and said I couldn't get any sort of refund due to the damage. He then told me to "get fucked" and hung up on me. I have since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and I've begun telling everybody I know to never go to the store. The price was right but not for the damage or the lack of help in delivery. Especially when I paid an extra fee to have it delivered. We eventually got the box spring upstairs, no thanks to the store or it's people. We had to break it further to get it up the stairs. NEVER AGAIN

I had our pieces delivered and they were on time, curious and quick. It was refreshing to have this experience with a company.
