He plays club hockey which is a lot of fun, and joined a fraternity -- the frats are fun and low key, not the toxic male environment as it can be at some schools. The campus is beautiful. Equally as nice as most small liberal arts colleges. The dorms are no worse than at most schools. I think most important of all, it's really a positive and supportive environment, academically intense but not competitive in an unhealthy way. If you're considering schools like Bucknell or Lehigh or Lafayette, DEFINITELY consider F&M. (And they gave us some generous financial merit aid compared to Bucknell!)

I honestly don't know where to begin--York College has been a complete nightmare from start to…read morefinish. The administration is an absolute mess, with zero organization. Emails go unanswered, phone calls are ignored, and even when you do manage to speak to someone, no one has a clue what's going on. Every interaction feels like you're talking to someone who's just as confused as you are about the school's basic operations. It's as if no one has any idea how to run the place! But that's not even the worst part. The campus is unsafe and poorly managed. There have been several incidents of crime happening around campus--some of which were completely brushed under the rug by the administration. Instead of addressing these issues and ensuring student safety, they've chosen to keep things quiet, making students feel like their safety isn't even a priority. I've had friends who were harassed, and it seems like no one at York cares enough to do anything about it. The lack of transparency is beyond frustrating, and the attitude of the administration is completely dismissive. I regret ever choosing this school. The lack of communication, the disorganized nature of everything, and the fact that serious safety issues are being ignored is beyond unacceptable. If you're considering York College, RUN. There are so many better options out there where your safety and education actually matter.

I graduated with my BSN from this school and returned to complete the CRNA program, which I plan to graduate from in a month and a half. Both programs were very strong academically and clinically and gave me the tools to succeed in my chosen fields. I recommend this institution, specifically the nursing majors.

The instructors were great and very patient. The classes are on average 6 students per instructor which is good. With classes this size you get a good amount of training without being overwhelmed or not getting enough one on one training. I like that you get trained in loaded and empty 53' foot trucks. You learn in a conventional tandem axle stand up sleeper cab tractor. You actually learn to back up this tractor trailer combination into a live loading dock. You get trained on actual interstates and on state highways that include traffic circles and tricky situations for a new driver. They stop for driver changes and bathroom breaks at actual truck stops. Where you learn to park in the available truck spaces. Which includes backing in and tight turns. The teachers are all highly experienced drivers with many years of on road experience. Great School,Great Instructors,Great Training, Great Experience, what more can i say. If you cannot make it through here and get your CDL and walk away happy with your experience here. Well maybe you are not cut out to be a truck driver. When you decide to enroll here make sure you listen to what the instructors tell you. They really know their field of expertise.
