It is rather pleasant with original beams and dark wood. The bar is curved and it's rather nice to see all the bottles behind the bar. The staff are very friendly. Slightly less so are the 'locals'. Last time we were there, we both had puddins, the sticky toffee. I had it with cream, because I'm like that. And Pimms. Although not the bestest ever, it was a good sticky pudding. I came away feeling nicely full too. I think this is just about my favourite pub in Wimborne. It's got a friendly feel and the music suits me and it's not too loud. Very pleasant frontage too.

You would want to stay there once you made the decision to go. The beams are low in the pub and it makes it difficult for tall people to manouvre easily. The prices to go with this are well priced to match the competition in town which is a plus for a nice afternoon out rather than evening. My negatives for this pub is that children aren't as welcome as they are in other pubs in the surrounding area. I think this is a shame as it would encourage me to visit more frequently if they were.
