Their hours are generous 7am to 930pm every day which is great, especially since they aren't 24hr. And they have vending machines as well as a sitting area with a TV, which is good because I often forget my books at home. I can wash my entire wardrobe for under $20! That's a bargain! Plenty of space inside, semi-limited parking outside, but not a deal breaker. Designated washers for greasy clothing and others for soaking, larger options for quilts, blankets...etc. And smaller, budget-friendly options as well. Living alone, I usually only do one or two loads of laundry a week and this place meets that need flawlessly. They also offer dry-cleaning services, which I have yet to try but have heard good things. The locals, although unique, tend to keep you themselves. Never felt uncomfortable here as I have with a few other places on the north end. There are even outlets abundant for charging a phone or using a laptop. No sense in not getting anything done while you're here!! :)

The change machine takes cash only, yet takes up to a $20 bill, which is helpful for those of us who have to go to an ATM to get cash. This place may look a little out of date, yet the washers and dryers are of commercial quality (which is better than what you have at home)! There is soft music playing and benches, chairs and a table with four padded seat and back chairs. I've grabbed Subway a few times and eaten at the table. I only come here when things aren't normal. In the past it was due to no washer/dryer, losing electricity. This time it's because laundry has built up with my hubby in rehabilitation after triple bypass surgery. Whatever excuse you need, this is the place to get your loads of laundry to done in record time compared to four loads wash and dry at home for example!

Now it is pay 1.00 for 10 minutes even if you don't need that long. No signs on the new systems. I picked 10 minutes for .50 and was forced to pay twice .50 for 20 minutes. This business appears to want to take advantage of its customers. At the very least, put of signs on how the pay system works now.

The washers range in size from small to very large ( I think it holds 9 loads) z Their dryers are all big and they do get hot; 175° to be exact.. They offer six minutes for a quarter. It normally takes two, or three to thoroughly dry your clothes. Ii just wish they hadn't cut their hours when they close. I am not exactly sure what their hours arre now.

If you value cleanliness and a friendly, helpful, happy community atmosphere, anyway! The attendant was attentive and helpful and gave valuable advice regarding what size of washer would be a good value and be able to tackle multiple of my loads of laundry in one go. When it came time to empty my washer a kind stranger volunteered to give me a hand because I was wearing my sleeping infant daughter in a sling and awkwardly working around her. So kind. It's busy in here but no one seems grouchy about waiting, and most people will meet my eyes and smile back. I like that there are different washer and dryer types to choose from (there are both front load and top load washers, and some great big and some regular sized) and that the larger machines accept payment from cards. I love that there are live plants inside, what a nice touch! My only note about how the environment could be improved is that it could maybe use a couple more chairs and that the chairs would benefit from someone taking a magic eraser to them. Everything else in here is grunge free and looks very clean and well cared for! It's summer time now and it is a little warm in here, though. There is one fan running near the front to help but fair warning, you'll likely start sweating while you wait for your laundry. Overall I'm having a very pleasant experience and am grateful. I definitely recommend this friendly clean laundromat to anyone!

When their machines don't work and eat your money no one wants to do anything about it, I contacted the number for the person who was supposedly who we were supposed to call with any issues, but the woman on the phone complained saying that she couldn't do anything more than what we had done and she suggested trying another machine, she said she was going to call the owner to see if maybe they had some spare change when I told her I wanted the money back for the machine that did not work. She was complaining to me that she did not want to have to walk all the way down here super unprofessional and basically said there was nothing she could do about it. You're offering a service via these machines that do not work, you would think you could do something about that.

I'm going from loyal customer here to never coming back. I had slowly stopped coming to the clintonville coin-op when I noticed a decline in their cleanliness shortly after they reopened. I started visiting other laundromats. I came back to give coin-op a try again and I'm disgusted to see they haven't improved their cleaning at all. This is the inside of the first machine I stopped at, 45 minutes into the day's opening, with the attendant chilling at the desk. So I skip the machine and go check some others. Checked at least four other machines. Each one was filthy. Dog hair, lint, gunk, coins, KIBBLE?? I found the cleanest one I could and wiped out the inside as much as I was able (it was still pretty grimy). Honestly I regret doing that wash. When it was over, I ended up just grabbing the 'clean' clothes and the rest of my clothes and putting them back in my car. No idea where I'm going to wash them next, but it's definitely not here. This place really used to be my favorite, but they need to seriously implement some stronger cleaning protocols and follow up on them.

I counted last time I was there (Nov 2025), and 20% of their machines were down. That's 1 in 5 and that is not an exaggeration. So if you go and it looks to only have a few people inside, there's a good chance that every washer will be occupied upon arrival. And the only thing worse than spending my day at a laundromat doing clothes, is spending the same time just standing around waiting to do clothes.
