The pumpkin and the cream of mushroom soups, and goulash are all incredible, warm, and hearty starts to the meal. The most popular entrees of the many to choose from are undoubtedly the Mushroom Schnitzel and the Beef Dumpling. Vegetarian options are available, the best being the Kase Spaetzle (often ordered by non-vegetarians... imagine adult Mac n cheese!), and the Veggie Patties with pasta. Absolutely don't miss their drinks (also available to buy), especially the Abbey beer! Our group of 6 was seated quickly, as it was a slow night. Our waitress was very nice and accomodating to us English speaking types. The rahmschnitzel I had was amazing, and there was compliments all around to the chef. Great salad and sides, typical German fair, but really, really good. We went the bar after, but didn't realize they were closing soon. No worries, they stayed open and drank beer and had shots with us. Overall, a great German restaurant experience. I can't wait to go back next year on the same trip.
