If you're looking for an exceptional real estate company to assist in buying or selling a home,…read moreyour search is over! Anthony and Lauren were incredible to work with and are very skilled in all areas of real estate. The property we purchased had many complexities and the Gallo team left no stone unturned. We especially loved how they avoided shortcuts and did thorough research on our behalf. During the process of buying a home and selling our home, any questions we had, big or small, were responded to promptly. Their ability to suggest high quality vendors such as a moving company, handyman, roofer, and more was spot-on. The Gallo Company sold our home IN FOUR DAYS in a market where houses typically sat for 60- 90 days. We attribute this quick turnaround to their white glove approach to the real estate transaction and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

My family and I have had the privilege of utilizing Nick for all three of our real estate…read moretransactions while we have lived in the Upstate. This is a realtor who is passionate about Greenville and it's surrounding areas, so much so that he can give you a whole Power Point about how wonderful the Upstate is between the events, dining and all around culture of the area. Where the rubber meets the road is how this passion is channeled and put into his work. Nick truly knows what it takes to sell a property and will always look out for your best interests on both the buy and sell sides. Recently, my wife and I sold our first home (the one Nick actually helped us buy); the process started with development of a timeline to get the home to market and the tools that are used to make our property stand out compared to others for sale. Lo and behold, after implementing the timeline Nick created with us, we received an offer on our home after only being on the market for four days. Throughout the sale process, Nick was an efficient communicator, always keeping us up to date and handling issues as they occurred, making the process feel seamless. While we awaited the completion of our new home, Nick acted as a liaison between us and the builder, helping to clarify and guide our decisions on the buying side. Even with hiccups in the moving process, nothing ever felt out of control because of his effective communication and ability to work with us to establish next steps. There is a reason we go back to Nick for our real estate transactions; the ability to maintain a level of stability in the moving process is incredibly challenging but Nick navigates the process flawlessly. We could not recommend him enough.

WARNING: Do Not Trust John Fravel or The Fravel Group My…read moreexperience with John Fravel and The Fravel Group has been a repeated nightmare. This man operates with deceptive, unethical, and manipulative tactics that no honest buyer should ever be subjected to. I've now dealt with him on two land purchases, and both times he pulled the same dishonest bait-and-switch strategy that should raise red flags for anyone considering doing business with him. In 2024, I pursued a property that was clearly listed as having "no restrictions." I signed a contract under those terms. Then, after the contract was in place, John came back and said the sellers would not proceed unless I accepted a restriction of "no more than 2 mobile homes." This wasn't a negotiation--it was an ultimatum. He retroactively changed the terms and backed me into a corner, effectively forcing me to accept conditions that were never disclosed upfront. Now in 2025, he's done it again--to me and others. Buyer Jacob Kidd fell victim to the same bait-and-switch scam. The listing on Jacob's property said "no mobile home park," but after closing, the deed revealed a much stricter clause: "no more than 2 mobile or manufactured homes." This is a calculated pattern--not a one-off mistake. Currently, I'm in the middle of a second purchase with John. The land was listed for $95,000 with "light restrictions" that only mentioned no mobile/manufactured home parks. I offered the full asking price. John rejected it, then came back demanding $100,000--and once again, the restrictions changed after the fact to "no more than 2 mobile or manufactured homes." It's a repeat of the same sleazy game, and it's clear this is how he does business. Let me be blunt: John Fravel is not an honest broker. His methods are underhanded, immoral, and in my opinion, a direct violation of what a licensed real estate agent should be allowed to do. If you are forced to deal with him for any reason, do not go in unrepresented. You absolutely need a qualified buyer's agent who can protect your interests and challenge the deceptive practices that John and his group rely on. Without proper representation, you're a target for manipulation. In my opinion, John Fravel operates like a predatory used car salesman--only in real estate, the damage runs far deeper. Do yourself a favor: approach with extreme caution, document everything, and never sign a single page without having your own agent and legal backup. He is not someone you want to trust with your money or your property rights.
