It felt like I had reached rock bottom and was trapped in a deep, dark hole with no way out. I found myself on my knees, crying and praying that somehow this was all just a terrible nightmare. By the grace of God, I received a glimpse of hope when I was referred to Attorney Thomas Fleming. Mr. Fleming took me under his wing. In the span of just a few days, I experienced a level of legal expertise, compassion, mercy, trust, and love that I had never felt before. I felt truly seen and cared for, as though God had placed him in my life exactly when I needed them most. He gave me guidance and recommendations that would not only help my case, but also guide me toward becoming the person I was intending to be. I committed myself to the recommendations he laid out and faithfully followed them for several months. In the end, they contributed not only to my case, but also to a profound transformation in my life. He is truly a miracle worker. My alcohol level was .18 BAC, profoundly high, and with bad driving reported by another citizen, the potential consequences I was facing were extremely serious, including the possibility of jail time and significant penalties. Yet, through the grace of God and Thomas's exceptional professional expertise, what initially felt like an impossible situation ultimately resulted in an actual (not guilty) acquittal on the DUI charges. He also convinced the judge to issue a court order that DMV must also acquit me! Thomas was able to email my court order of not-guilty to the right person and right department at DMV. DMV then instantly emailed Thomas a DMV not-guilty order for my case. This meant that I get to keep my license! Nothing is impossible for God. I am incredibly grateful that I received no jail time and was instead given volunteer hours at a charity or church. My whole case will then be expunged in only one year! This is an outcome I never could have imagined when I was at my lowest point. I am truly blessed--not only by the outcome of my case, but by the way God brought him into my life. Looking back, I can see that meeting Thomas was something much greater than simply a fortunate circumstance, it was a blessing that reminded me of God's presence and His plan for my life. If you are ever in a situation similar, where you feel hopeless or unsure of where to turn, I cannot recommend Mr. Fleming enough. You need to inquire with them. His legal expertise may change the course of your case, but more importantly, his compassion, guidance, recommendations, and genuine care may change the course of your life, and turn something bad into something very good.

I am a nurse and I thought that would be the end of my life and my career. It was the darkest time in my life that I lost trust in the system and humans. During this time, I found and retained attorney Thomas Fleming. He assured me everything would be ok. Throughout the legal process, Thomas guided me every step, recommending a number of activities that are good for my case, and also helped me grow as a person. Thomas then used these activities and my growth in court as one of many reasons why the court should give me a second chance despite any mistakes I may have made. Thomas then asked the judge to divert and dismiss my case. The prosecutor strongly objected to this. But, amazingly, the judge believed and agreed with Thomas, and granted his request to divert and dismiss my case. Amazing but true, the court dismissed my case at his request! Thomas then filed a motion to seal any record of my arrest, the court granted as well! Thomas has a lot of faith. I found him to be a smart, trustworthy, honest, professional, compassionate and genuinely cared for me as a person. He got to know me and my family as well. He always wanted the best for me, it showed in the result. God bless Thomas!

With 2 dui's literally back to back. My fiance was in a situation. I already know.... how can you…read moreget two back to back. Oooh and did I forget to mention he had one from like 7 years ago that we thought was a dry and reckless but turned out to be a wet and reckless. We had no other choice but to deal with it. I advised my fiance he would need to hire an attorney. He automatically wanted to go with the attorney with the most reviews. But I advised him he should be cautious. I called the attorney he wanted to go with and didn't get a good feeling. I called 2 other law firms and again didnt get a good feeling. I finally called Christopher and felt confident so we setup a meeting and my feeling of confidence increased. He didn't make any promises of what the outcome would be but he did leave us feeling like we made a great choice. He kept us informed and anytime we had any questions I contacted him and he got back to me quickly. I always texted him and called when needed. I know attorneys are busy in and out of court and in meetings so I didn't want to take up his time from working on cases. Christopher advised my fiance to get on the scram cam as a pre plea. This would help him in court if need be. We got the run around from the scram place. They said he needed to be sentenced first. So I contacted Christopher and he gave me a womens name. I called the scram place back and got ahold of the women Christoper referred us to. She handled everything. He always kept us informed if he was running late due to being in another court room. He negotiated and did everything he could and got my fiance the best outcome. He was facing jail time due to his prior. He was able to get one case down to a wet and wreckless, 5 days community service with half time and the other case 10 days community service, with 3 months dui class. Regular court fees. All in all I'm 100% positive we got the best outcome. He knows his stuff and will fight to get the best outcome. He will go over the D.A to speak to the supervising D.A if need be. If you are looking for an attorney who can get you the best outcome Christoper is the best. Hopefully we never need his services again. But it's good to know we know someone we trust. He is worth more than what we paid for. So call him today and thank me later

He was very responsive (texting me back almost always instantly). To find a good lawyer who replies in a timely manner is hard enough, but to find one who TEXTS you back for every question? AMAZING! I was nervous about the process and pretty in the dark before reaching out to Christopher but he was more than willing to answer questions and walk me through everything step by step. He didn't make any guarantees on outcome, but was very knowledgeable and I left his office confident. Also smiling in the end with the outcome. He is very direct and to the point, so if you're looking for a lawyer with just buzzwords, fluff, and all-talk, he's not your guy. He's very familiar with Contra Costa Country courts and has good connections which is always a plus! If I run into anything again or I have friends who need representation , I will definitely recommend Christopher Varnell.
