I am giving this place a 1 star review because I am disappointed in the product. I bought a donut key chain pipe about two days ago and my friend bought a ice cream shape pipe. The ice cream pipe works amazing, but I wish the sales guy would had told me that the plastic donut has a removable piece that may fall off. The top of my donut pipe the white sprinkly piece has falling off so I cannot even smoke out of it now. I paid $15 dollars for this items and I would hope the shop would at least answer their phone. read more

Boyfriend just tried to buy a Yocan pen and the white chick working the store said it was $60. After she made the sale she didn't give us a receipt. When we asked her how much was the total, b*tch had the nerve to say the "model" pen boyfriend had picked out was $110 not $60 like she previously stated. When management came, that retard said "well, I can give it to you for $70 now, but no refunds." Mind you, majority of the pens in display did not have a price tag so I am assuming they just rip people off as they please. Dishonest business. Will dispute this sale with credit card company. How are you gonna low key up-charge someone and not provide a receipt after the sale. Straight up scammers! If you said $60, honor the sale and if a customer decide to get a higher priced item, it is your job to notify the customer before you make the transaction. That is how you do business. read more

I was in the area and needed some butane. When I asked if they had any he simply handed it to and so I took out my card. I noticed there was no price as I inserted my card. As I was about to ask how much it was, the guy behind the counter asked if I needed a bag. I thought about it said no. And he bid me good day. Never gave me a receipt. Later that day I saw that I was charged $16 for a $5 bottle of butane. I've tried calling but every number listed for the ship is no longer in service. Its expected that pipes and water pipes are over priced to make room for bartering. But butane? $16? Really? Will never go here again read more

I really got screwed by these guys. Do your research before buying something from this store. I made the mistake of buying an e vaporizer from them at almost 4x the real cost. I paid $150 + Tax while the real price at most stores was $40 / $45. They also sold me some Kalari ejuices for $15 each while you can get them in most places for $2.50. The day after I realized they screwed me I stopped by again just to confirm that these guys are crooks. I asked how much was a Gpen they had for sale and they told me they were gonna give me a great deal...$160 was their "awesome"deal. At other stores and directly from the Gpen website it was $60. As I walked away they were almost begging me to come back, that they were going to give it to me for $60....I don't know if the owner is aware of the kind of deals his/her salespersons give... My roommate and I went here to get her bong! We walked the whole strip and compared prices and La La Land came up with the best prices... and the guys were very helpful and gave us their honest opinion. Except the old man that doesn't look you in the eye--he tried to sell my roommate a bong for 250 when his coworker already told us 130 earlier. Not the biggest shop on the walk, but they have a very large selection of pipes, bubblers, and bongs, and they're all higher end on quality. Come here for a large selection of Roors. My roommate is ecstatic about her bong, a thick glass medium-large Pure with an ice catcher, which she got for 120. They even threw in a case bag, cleaner, and rolling papers for free! On February 1, 2011 I went in to LA La Land to replace my 18mm joint on my $500.00 OEM German Roor bong. When I went to pick it up, I saw that the Bong was cut to 19 inches, (originally it was 24 inches). They told me that when they heated up the bong, it cracked, so to "save it" they had to cut it and reheated on another piece of a different thickness. Basically, they RUINED my $500 dallar bong, charged me and told me they are not responsible for there mistake. I will never come back to theses people again. p.s. They claim they sent it to Roor to get fixed, thats a complete lie. They blow in the back. -I am a medical cannabis patient. I have been going here for almost 2 decades now. Spent. Between my friends and family I think I brought about 2k of business. But today I tried to return a faulty product (3 level flower grinder with external cranky labeled at $90 but purchased at $60) and was only meet with doubt and accusations. When I mearly asked for a replacement I was only offered a discount on purchase of another more expensive grinder. I told the sales person I spent over $200 on that day alone he did not care and told me that's it. I am never coming back. I am sure to tell everyone to never shop here again. I purchased a G-Pen here that lasted for less than 24 hours. When i first went in the owner told me "O you're my first customer i will give you a great deal" bla bla bla. proceeded to tell me that he usually sells it for $250 but he's willing to sell it for $120 (i find out later it retails for $99 on company's website. The next morning after charging it over night, it didnt work, I took it back, a different guy said o the manager isn't here but come back tomorrow and the owner will hook you up. So i come back the next day. The owner then tells me that I must have broken it and he is not responsible, and that i can get a replacement part somewhere else and fix it myself. If this was a $50 purchase i would have just said whatever, but for spending $130 at this shop I was treated horribly. I tried calling their phone number to find out how late they were open, but nobody picked up. Anyhow, I went down to Venice beach and walked into the store and it's a bit of a quieter atmosphere from the rest of the Ocean Front Walk (super crowded and bustling with tourists). I looked around for awhile and eventually found a nice ROOR bong that I liked. I'd heard about glass shops in Venice selling knock-off duplicates of real bongs, so I made sure to check that the thing was real on my cell phone before talking the dude down from $260 to $200. Then I walked out a satisfied customer. I gotta say, if I wanna get any more glassware I'm likely to check out this place first. read more
