This facility looks very new, so I suspect a recent move. Very happy with the care we received here. From the initial call on the phone, to the front desk when we arrived, to all the nurses and doctors. The check in process is fairly straightforward (see photo), and the wait time, even though there were a few people in front of us, was acceptable. The attention, care, and information we received was delivered with care and empathy. The only reason I did not go 5 stars, as that ALL the seating, in the waiting area was labeled "Do not use." (due to COVID). I don't why ALL the seating was like this. What happened to distancing? I did notice there was a water dispenser, not fountain, with cups. I thought it would carry a warning on "safe use", but I saw none. Bottom line: Hope we don't have to visit here again, but if we do, at least all the people are nice... I've lived in large cities most of my adult life, and when I moved to Granbury, I expected more personalized medical care. I didn't necessarily expect cutting-edge treatment--just good care from a physician who genuinely cares. Unfortunately, that hasn't been my experience. I initially saw Dr. Casey Dean at Lakeside Physicians and was very pleased with him. However, the office operations and billing practices were disappointing. I went in for an annual physical, which is supposed to be 100% covered by insurance, yet I was charged a copay simply because I answered a question about how I was doing on my prescriptions. That apparently fell outside the scope of a physical. This was just one example of what felt like constant efforts to bill for anything possible. When Dr. Dean left the practice, I was reassigned to a new primary care physician who couldn't see me for nine weeks. In the meantime, my blood pressure prescription expired, and the office refused to refill it until I had an appointment. I was forced to visit an urgent care facility just to get a refill, which was both unnecessary and expensive. I would not return. I've since found where Dr. Dean is now practicing and am willing to drive to Fort Worth to continue care with a physician I trust. Very disappointing experience. read more

Why are these physicians and N.P.'s leaving? We have been through two within a year and now are on our third who we haven't seen yet. Is it true these physicians are not getting paid as agreed. This is a mess and is hell on people trying to recuperate from major trauma. read more

came as a new patient, and was turned away I was 12 minutes I had went to the wrong location and then had to wait in line at the check-in office. The front desk lady was rude. As a new patient that has never been to this facility, and was brand new to the area, I couldn't believe it. Did not reschedule and will not be receiving care under this entity. read more

Lakeside physicians is a joke. While there are good doctors within lakeside physicians, they're doing themselves a disservice by being tied to lakeside physicians. I've made multiple appointments with new doctors after my last one retired only to be notified a week in advance that the doctor couldn't accept me after reviewing my chart. If you're going to have an answering service take calls and find a new doctor for you, they should be educated on which doctors prescribe the medication you need. While the medication I take is not deemed "necessary" by most medical professionals, it's necessary for me to function in my work life and personal life. I recently left lakeside physicians and am seeing a doctor who doesn't take insurance, which is fine by me because I'd rather pay $50 - $100 out of my own pocket than let lakeside physicians bill my insurance and receive over $150 plus my copay for the 10 minutes I spend in their office. read more

This was the worst surgery center i have ever been to in my life. it was extremely miss managed. no oversite. i regret having to go hear. i will be making the trip to Fort Worth for all future needs or visits. other then its location i don't know why anyone would use this place. you would be better going to the local vet then this E.R or surgery center read more

Great place but the parking like most places in Texas is insufficient for the location. Hard to find parking, parking lot is small, and the people coming out of the location are rude. I was waiting for a spot to park in the guy came out and was leaving saw me waiting for the spot so he stands outside of his truck and gets on his phone while smiling in my direction. Great quality person, I decided to circle around and by time I got back to the spot the person had left and I missed the opportunity to park. read more

Yesterday I had an appt to see Nancy Wagner (nurse practioner at Lakeside Physicians). An appt scheduler informed me that Dr. Tompkins was out of town until next week but based on my symptoms her computer software directed her to schedule me to see a doctor sooner and she could schedule me with Nancy for Wed., March 12 @ 10:00 am. I agreed because my symptoms of sudden bilateral pain and neuropathy were very concerning and frightening. Prior to my appt I read all the glowing reviews about Nancy and I was pleased and hopeful to meet with her. I was greeted by a lovely, kind and attentive nurse (wish I knew her name) and was led to the exam room promptly at 10:00 am. She took my vitals and the history of my current medical concerns and reassured me that the doctor/nurse practitioner would be in soon to address my concerns. One hour later at 11:00 am I noted that I had been sitting in the exam room waiting now for one hour. I was not frustrated or upset at all because I was sure (based on the glowing reviews) that Nancy was providing other patients the care and attention that they required and that when she got to me she would provide me with the same. At 11:20 am Nancy entered my exam room, introduced herself and told me that she would not be treating me because she was "only seeing sick patients" and she does not know me or my medications etc. I was confused and I said, "I don't take any medications, could you at least just run some baseline labs (blood tests). She refused this request and I said, "okay then I guess I should just leave." She apologized and said she was already behind and that she would only see "sick" patients. I asked why I had been left in an exam room for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Why wasn't I informed when I arrived for the appt. She didn't have an answer just a meaningless apology. I told her that I had read the glowing reviews about her and her response to this was, "I DO GOD'S WORK". You decide it this qualifies as "GOD'S WORK". I left the office feeling rejected, dejected, and I don't know where to go for help because I will never return to that office. I am a 75 yr old healthy woman and I take pride in doing all I can to take care of myself and not need medical help. This is my story, you decide for yourselves if you feel comfortable putting your life in the hands of this person. I don't know if this is considered malpractice (legally) but personally it is my opinion that this qualifies. Thank you for listening and I hope this helps you decide if this person is right for you. Absolutely horrible customer service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. MY doctor, Adrienne Mucha, quit and left me high and dry. I called the practice 5+ times within a 2 week timeframe to schedule an appointment with another doctor in the office as I needed to get my medicine changed. They kept promising call backs from nurses since I was hospitalized 4 times at this point, but that NEVER happened. I called again and got someone in reception and they scheduled me an appointment finally. I show up to the appointment 3 weeks later to find out it was made with a pediatrician. I'm 36, and they had access to that in their system. So, essentially they just continually waste your time. In the meantime, I was still being hospitalized (9 times total) due to surgery complications and have gone without the help of a PCP. I was promised a phone call from the office manager to address the situation, but that also NEVER happened. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. Worst people ever. They don't care about their patients. And they couldn't get me in for another 2 months! I still haven't been seen, called, or anything. Finding another provider in town is difficult as everyone is booked out months. You should be ashamed of yourselves. read more

went in for wellness exam and they wanted to reschedule because they forgot to give me paperwork that needed filled out. now I know my test results since they are posted on portal and that they're some red and white blood cell numbers that are out of range. but damn that! gotta get that paperwork done first! forget reassuring the cancer survivor patient. so upset right now!!!!! read more

Before you consider using any physician that works for Lakeside Physicians company think again . These doctors are hired they have 15 minute windows for the patients they are so rushed so stressed out they can't even really listen to you. Their office staff is full of a bunch of very confused young ladies who after talking to several of them concerning the same subject every one of them have a different answer nobody seems to know what's going on find a doctor who has his own office do not go to any physician that works under Lakeside Physicians it's like a assembly line after being married to a doctor for over 15 years I have never been more shocked to see how these doctors are treated and the stress they're under and how they hire totally inadequate certified medical assistance office staff nurses seem to be okay the one I've dealt with. If you have an appointment and you want to go ahead you'll soon see what I mean your first visit you'll see what I mean go to a good old Doctor Who has his own office the company that owns Lakeside Physicians hire doctors to work under their rules their times and I imagine they make all the profit there's been over a dozen doctors quit working for Lakeside Physicians in the last year just thought somebody should say this read more
