It easily fit our King-size bed and furniture with plenty of closet space and we were pleasantly surprised to find an attached bathroom with a large closet as well! the kitchen wasn't all that large but had a opening that looked out into the living room which also had a very large window overlooking the Minnesota River. I noticed that our building is basically right on the beach so to speak and the grounds is in a park like setting, filled with picnic tables and a couple of BBQ pits for those who would like to cook outdoors. The RiverView Apartments is Both pet and Handicapped friendly (as I have to use a wheelchair much of the time and we do have a small sometimes "shy" dog.) And when we first moved to the area, the first folks we met where Terri Garcia the Manager of the complex, Dave, the maintenance man (he had to change a lightbulb and he came within minutes!!!) and Jennifer, Terri's daughter, a bubbily, cheerfull lady bursting with all sorts of information us newcomers need to know. All three of them made my husband and I so welcome and have been so approachable for any question we have had for them even if it's been after hours. I must say, so far, these apartments have been in the best condition, and have been very well managed and loved by some very, very nice down to earth folks. and for them, Craig and I (Dianne Edgett) are very grateful.

They allow you to have pets. My dog loves having some friends and they are also putting in a dog park in our backyard. There is a bus system that runs through the apartment complex that is free to ride for students. It comes at convenient times and get me to my classes on time. Overall, this is a fun place to live. It has a volleyball court, basketball court, fields to play football and soccer in, a pool, and a frolf course. I never have issues with parking and the maintenance crew is on point and efficient for the most part. Rent is pretty good if you compare it with other common student housing around campus. Overall great place to live and I would recommend it as a MNSU student.
