Bob talked to son John yesterday morning and said we did not want them to do any cleanup work on our property. John said he understood. We went to my physical therapy session and came home to find that they had cut down a mature, healthy red oak on our property. They knew it was on our side of the property line becuase of the survey markers but did it anyway. A worker admitted it was a mistake because they never told him not to take it. Then the owner made like it was a mistake. We wanted compensation for the tree and all he said was he could bring the logs back which was a lie since he took a whole lot of trees from the other guy's property and there was no way to know which was our tree. Getting a lawyer would be way more expensive, and the jerk knows that! I guess that was their way of getting some money for the work we decided not to do. Just be aware that Paul Maas and Top Notch Tree Service is not a reputable company.
