The Walgreens Pharmacy in Flowood, MS has been a complete disappointment. The cashiers Ms. Lisa and…read moreMs. Hailey made my experience a failure due to their lack of professionalism, lack of socialization skills( don't smile, don't greet), and inability to listen. My first negative experience happened when my husband went to pick up one prescription, but they charged him for two of the same medication. That made absolutely no sense. Because I was in the hospital at the time, I returned the extra prescription once I was discharged. When I came in, Hailey gave me an attitude and refused to acknowledge that they were at fault. I had to advocate for myself just to receive my husband's refund. The second incident was even worse. I needed an important medication immediately after being discharged. Walgreens was the only pharmacy that had it. Another pharmacy (that did not have the medication in stock) advised me to try GoodRx since my insurance didn't cover it. I presented my coupon, but Ms. Hailey and Ms. Lisa refused to honor it and declined service altogether. When I returned--10 days postpartum--Ms. Lisa yelled from the drive-through, saying, "I told her what the price was going to be. I don't know why she keeps presenting the same thing. We couldn't honor her price when she called." Completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I came back to the pharmacy. The only positive part of this experience was Ms. Kayden. She remained calm, kind, professional, and helpful--exactly how someone who is ill and postpartum should be treated at a pharmacy. She did what Ms. Hailey and Ms. Lisa should have done from the start. Ms.Kayden reviewed everything and adjusted my price per policy. Ms. Kayden deserves recognition. The behavior from Ms. Hailey and Ms. Lisa needs to be addressed immediately. I have reported the unwarranted behavior to corporate. Ms.Hailey and Ms.Lisa- If you no longer love your job, that's okay. But showing up rude and nasty to people who need assistance isn't professionalism, it's a sign it's time for a new chapter/ a mental issue that is bigger than customer service. You picked your job, the customers did not. Go get an education, get help, (EAPS), and do better for yourselves.

So rude! The pharmacy staff need to work on their people skills. I left thinking which pharmacy…read morecould I switch too. I've been using this one for 15 years. Just so ridiculous. If you hate your job that much find a new one.

On August 31, 2020 around 11:30p, my 17 year old son stopped to at your store to put gas in my car…read more His debit card became lodged/stuck in the machine at the pump ( pump 2). He went into the store to obtain assistance and apparently the store clerk told him there's nothing she can do. The store clerk DID NOT attempt to physically assist. My 17 y/o son then calls me and I speak with store clerk who at this point had not attempted to call anyone else (manager) for assistance until I suggested she call. It took several call attempts to manager before he finally answers. When the manager answered, the store clerk immediately apologize to the manager for waking him up. Needless to say, the manager says the same thing- there's nothing he can do and that my son would have to leave his bank debit card in the machine overnight and unprotected until someone ( the machine person) comes the next day to retrieve it). After I kept insisting that I was uncomfortable with this solution the store manager hung up in the store clerk's face. On a better note, THANK GOD for the Flowood Police Dept. I gave them a call and within minutes they came out and retrieved the card from the pump machine and saved the night. The POLICE did what the store clerk and store manager should've taken the initiative to do. Their poor response, lack of concern, lack of training towards this situation should not be acceptable. Suggesting to leave a card at a pump overnight and unprotected was NOT the smartest or safest solution. This solution did not have the safety of your customer in mind. This was a selfish and callous solution. I highly recommend that you train your employees including your first line manager to handle situations such as this with respect and concern for your customers. Thank you
