The routing is particularly scenic with green complexes which are the real stars. Some are very challenging, but helpful bail out areas are provided, so players always have an option. From the blind drive on the first hole to the last putt in front of the clubhouse patio, this is a really nice course to play.

Reserved an hour with Mike Mrugal, one of two golf pro instructors at this driving range. He was knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to my feedback. Provided some very simple and actionable tips that I could do on and off the golf course. It helped reinforce the good movements of my swing and build muscle memory. I definitely plan on going back to Mike after the season is over for some more tips to work on during the winter at the driving range. Between holes 1-5, I was repairing two per hole, then I just gave up...total lack of disrespect for your fellow golfer!! I like the layout, plenty of dog legs and a couple of holes with water in play. In the future, looking forward to playing the Gold-to-Red tees. In the beginning planning stages, Jackie and Tim were so great about accommodating our crazy schedules and answering our many questions. They were so patient and very helpful in providing suggestions and feedback when we needed it. They allowed us to "drop by" at all hours so we could plan for each of our vendors and even set up the ballroom one day with all the tables so we could really visualize how the room would look. The day of the wedding was more than we ever could have imagined. It really exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was absolutely spectacular. Tim and the chef really went above and beyond to ensure our menu was exactly what we wanted and each dish was impeccable. We had guests commenting on how it was the best "wedding food" they have ever had and felt like they had a meal from a 5-star restaurant! The service was more than we would have ever imagined. Each staff member was very professional and helpful in making sure our guests were very well taken care of. We had a guest mention that his glass wasn't empty all night because his waitress was on top of making sure he was so well cared for! The bar staff was amazing - they were engaging and professional and really had hustle to make sure our guests didn't have to wait around for a cocktail. It was most appreciated! The appetizer stations were set up so beautifully as was the dessert display ! My husband was totally blown away with the dessert feast, it was incredible. They were able to adjust our flowers from different areas to accent the tables and did it so discreetly I had NO idea it even happened until I walked in the dessert room! We had an ice cream bar as well and the service was amazing - it was a great feature to the dessert area. Tim and Katherine were so detailed oriented and made sure everything ran flawlessly from start to finish. The newly renovated club is absolutely stunning!! Its so elegant and modern - very light and bright. The outdoor terrace bar is spectacular - it's huge and unlike anything I've ever seen before. Its so well crafted and has details that are a real standout. Katherine really took care of every little element that I hadn't even thought of - the smallest touches made the biggest difference! The staff put together a really cute candy bar display. I was out on the golf course taking photos and a staff member stuck by my side to make sure I was well hydrated and didn't need anything, food, water, etc. She was able to grab my husband a beer to keep him going through photos! It was a really nice touch! Bottom line - MCGC exceeded ALL my expectations in everyday. The staff really went above and beyond for us and our guests. I would absolutely do another event here.

It isn't an overly hard course, but it certainly isn't easy. I found my way into and out of a few bunkers and even lost a ball in the water...but I had so much fun playing again I didn't care. This review is only for the food and service at the corporate event held at the club house…read more The club house itself is nicely decorated. We had shrimp cocktail and lamb chops stations both of which were amazing! The shrimp was huge and firm. Lamb chops were melting in my mouth - it was a little cold after sitting at the station but still really good. There were a few appetizers passed around - I tried a roll filled with ground beef, it was ok. I had arugula Parmesan salad for dinner as an appetizer. It also had pine nuts in it and the dressing was really good. I had NY strip 16oz steak for entree. It was well cooked, but the meat itself was just ok (maybe wrong cut?). It came with sautéed spinach that tasted plain and chewy. The side of rice cake was amazing! It also had pine nuts in it. We had a choice of a cheesecake or lava cake for dessert. The cheesecake was creamy and tasty, but pretty basic flavor. Lava cake was moist, but I like the center of lava cake to be liquid. So for me it was more a chocolate cake than lava cake. The service throughout the night was top noch. There was always someone around to attend to your needs. All the waiters were really nice.
