We reached out to them only to be told, sorry you signed the settlement agreement. We were naive to trust that they were looking out for us, we never received a bill prior as this was part of the settlement, the firm even said they called them. We know its our fault for signing without it being on there but never did we think that our lawyer would let that slide and accept the settlement without all medical bills they were aware of being included. We were a pain to them and i kind of think they just wanted to be done with us. They said they never received a release for them to get the bill, they acknowledged they knew about the medical bill and still settled the claim knowing it was outstanding. Now we have to pay it out of pocket. In my opinion, there are much better Workers Compensation firms out there. They made sure to take their percentage of the settlement. They also had one of their criminal defense attorneys handling our workers compensation claim, look on their website, no where does it say Thomas Simon specializes in workers compensation, we reached out to Richard Cayo asking for a different attorney to which he said Attorney Simon was competent,... competent enough that he settled knowing there were outstanding medical bills....

During the outbreak of the Covid pandemic, I was working a contracted job through this agency by…read morethe name of Woodway USA, as a traveling technician. Woodway specializes in fitness and biomedical equipment, making their main clients gyms and medical facilities, among other highly trafficked businesses. The gyms were ordered to shut down and our department effectively had no work to do. I often found myself sitting at my desk for 8 hours a day, researching various components, and received very little actual job training, which I relayed to my handler Mike, on a consistent basis, as well as my supervisor at Woodway. The production staff at Woodway decided to perform a walkout over lack of proper PPE and safety regulations within the company, and they essentially conscripted the temps like myself to "help out". Meanwhile the rest of us who had been traveling all over the country, and even internationally were not allowed to quarantine. I mentioned that I did not feel safe coming to work, to my supervisor, and that I was not doing the work I was hired to do, and so would be going on unemployment until things returned to normal. I received a text message saying I was fired, like I was some kind of bad date. Did Aerotek attempt to help me find another position after this? Absolutely not, they gaslit me and tried to make it my fault for standing up for myself, and caring about not only my own safety, and the safety of others. I ended up winning a grueling, 4 month long battle over this, with unemployment, solidifying in my mind that I was wronged. This company does not care about you, it only cares about making money. Would not recommend.

Initially they offered me a wedding server job but then sent me to a garlic Factory but I specifically am not looking for food.jobs. I bumped my leg while turning around to quickly grab garlic bread off the conveyer belt which hurt longer than it should have on my shin. I never once was talked to about what kind of work I'm really looking for. I also never was asked to return but sent over by text a form to be hired at this garlic factory but I'd of liked at least a formal conversation about whether I'd want to instead of a just here hep fill this out. Staffing place like this needs better communication with me. Other than this I do think there is a need for people to work and get money just not sure hopping around from one job to another like a darn marionette is the way to go about and do so... on top of it they asked how my work week was at the factory as if they had had a conversation of me returning we didn't definitely something off about their company but I do respect what they are doing for the community...

Some of the options he presented were better than others, but at least he was honest and up front about the pros and cons to each option. Unfortunately Attorney Fairweather passed away a few months later. I requested to meet with a new attorney at Hawks Quindel. The firm made me pay an additional consultation fee to meet with the second attorney, which I thought was odd. After less than an hour in the office, the second attorney told me that I didn't have a case. Not only was I out one, but two consultation fees, and left exactly where I started. Today, I read an article where an attorney at Hawks Quindel is representing a volunteer who is suing a non-profit organization (a volunteer rescue squad) because he felt that he should be paid for his volunteer service. While I wholeheartedly agree that Paramedics deserve good pay, that volunteer KNEW what he was signing up for when he applied to be a volunteer. After looking into said volunteer, I see that he has felony convictions for Medicare fraud, in which he was ordered to pay over a MILLION dollars in unearned fraudulent claims. So he turns to suing a volunteer run ambulance service to pay back his debts? I don't think so. Hawks Quindel should be ashamed of themselves for representing a professional con artist. Needless to say, I would NOT recommend this firm.

The Attorney's strategy was to not attack the City because judges do not like it when you do that. Weird! If the City is negligent/wrong/bias and results in court, that is your case. During court, he doesn't listen to his clients. I was trying to notify him of something during the hearing and he would not listen. I think he has poor hearing abilities and difficulties being attentive. I ended up losing my case. This attorney should not be practicing law.
