I consistently choose Jessica for my nail services and Alex for my foot care, but on this occasion, Jessica provided both services, resulting in a total cost of $115. I tipped 11%, bringing the total to $126.50. Although I was somewhat satisfied, I felt rushed when Jessica applied the color powder to my nails, only to discover she had run out and failed to inform me. This led to frustration and a request for Jenny's assistance. After returning home and showering, I discovered the gel polish on my toes had come off. I contacted the salon to request a correction and was met with a dismissive response from Jenny, who claimed Jessica was unavailable despite my prior text conversation with her. Upon my arrival, and getting the correction fixed on my toes Jenny approached me in a hostile manner, stating I was no longer welcome at the salon and should seek a different nail salon. I said wowwww and put my shades on and I politely departed, feeling embarrassed in front of other customers that was being serviced.

After calling several in the area, this one finally answered their phone (or had some availability) and we easily made an appointment. The good: this salon was well designed with careful thought and attention to detail. The space is aesthetically pleasing and the furnishing are new and in good repair. It was easy to make an appointment on a Saturday morning with less than two hours notice. My wife was very pleased with her how her curls turned out. The true test will be whether they can stay that way for the rest of the day! The bad: I almost drove right by the place when trying to find it! There is a sign out by the road but the building it's in is completely unmarked (except for the decal on their entrance). Some of the chairs had hair clippings on them! Not a deal breaker, but it's not the most difficult thing in the world to clean off (especially when there are at least two staff members in the "Employees Only" back room). The laminate flooring was a little hokie. I wouldn't have noticed it at all if I hadn't hit a few spots where it was bubbling up (the only black mark on an otherwise spotless job by the contractor here. They take extra care with my natural nails and my nails always turn out better than I expected or the picture I bring in!
