Dylan and Bekah were so easy to work with. They were so pleasant, straightforward and hard working…read more They went above and beyond for our home and their work was meticulous. They were so organized from quoting the job, to helping select paint colors and arranging the painting schedules. Bekah has all our paints on file with Dulux for future reference. Down to every detail, they were exceptional. I would recommend them to anyone who asked and will have them back to paint other rooms in our house. I see the one other review here and I'm sorry that was thaf patron's experience but ours was the total opposite! We loved them!

I got a quote from this company to paint the exterior of my home. They came to the house to look at…read moreit and provided a quote. I decided to go ahead so provided a 50% deposit. On the day they were to start work on the house the painter arrived to start prep work/power washing. Prior to doing any work, he discovered what he thought was lead paint on one wall of the house. This was apparently not seen or suspected when they did the quote as no one mentioned this and it was not in the quote. Due to suspected lead paint, no work was done and they said they needed to test the paint to find out. I paid them another $255 to cover lab testing to find out. They told me these results would be available "within a few days" and then did not contact me for weeks and did not respond to two emails asking what was going on. When they finally did respond, they said the lab needed something else still and they took another week to do that. Finally, they said that the lab said there was lead paint on one side of the house. This company does not remove lead paint or side over it, so we got a quote on what it would cost to do that (since we had an entire month while we were waiting "a few days") - $23,000. This was not something we were expecting or could afford to do, and the paint company stated they could not do any part of the job until this one wall was dealt with, and so we requested our deposit back. They refused, saying that they bought materials already and that they spent "many hours" at our house (again, there was absolutely no work done, not even a hose turned on). A nosy neighbour came out and asked a bunch of questions of this person when he said he suspected lead paint and they are saying they spent "hours" talking to our neighbours (which we did not ask or want them to do, and also we were present and this person was at our home for approximately 40 minutes in total). They also said the deposit is "non refundable" although this was never communicated to us prior to us giving the deposit and the quote and deposit receipt do not say that it is non refundable. We would never have given them a deposit if we had known there was a possible lead paint issue, as we would have found out how much it cost to fix that problem first. I asked them to give us the material that they bought for our project since they would no longer be able to do it and to provide us with the receipts for their purchase, and then to refund the remainder of the deposit. They said they would give us the material, but would not refund any money. Three days after they said they would be there to drop the stuff off, they came while we were not present (as they said they would be there three days before) and left paint in our backyard along with a typed note (no store receipts for the materials) which bills us for 3 hours of work at $150/hour and $500 to "hold the spot", along with inflated costs for paint and tape (they state they are charging 'retail costs', not what they actually paid for them). I believe that they either knew there was lead paint on the house when they did the quote and said nothing, knowing that they could not complete the work and took our deposit anyway, or they did such a crappy job assessing the house at the time of the quote that they didn't notice it and are just keeping my money anyway. They have vastly inflated the amount of time, cost of material, and "work" that was done in order to justify keeping the deposit. In addition to this, when I made a completely factual review of them and this situation on the website Bark where I found them, they sent me a nasty email calling me a witch. Steer clear.
