She is rude and has always been rude and unprofessional. This particular morning was my limit with her. I came in for my scheduled appointment after working a 12 hour shift and making a 2 hour drive home. My daughter on the other hand was called into work and I needed to reschedule her appointment. The woman begins to tell me that she can not reschedule due to 3 missed appointments, which was not true. When I asked what appointments she missed the woman could not tell me. The woman was very short with me, even cutting me off as I spoke. There is no reason to be that hateful. This is a service being provided so having a pleasant demeanor would be greatly appreciated. I canceled my appointment and will never be back. She will never change.

In only a very few minutes, She returned with my glasses fully repaired with the new pad. Then, I asked Her to repair my other pair which were twisted out of shape. She agreed and offered to replace the bridge pad on that pair of glasses. A few minutes later She returned from the back with them straight and with new pad. I hate to have to say this, but Ozark Eye Center has shown itself, in my experience, to be…read moreunbelievably incompetent and unwilling to accept responsibility for its mistakes. In my case, they made five mistakes in a row, finally refusing to correct them. * One: The ophthalmologist assigned me a non-standard reading-distance in my glasses prescription; it was too far away for me to read comfortably. * Two: An optician specified that the bifocal line be very low, saying she thought I had requested it. I had not. * Three: To correct the reading-distance, the optometrist did a new refraction, but forgot (!) to enter the new diopter specification on the prescription, so I had the same wrong glasses as before. * Four: Another optician undertook to do a loose-lens test to correct the prescription, but lacking something so simple as a tape-measure, she tried to improvise, and mismeasured my requested reading-distance by an inch and a half, too close for me to read easily. * Five: That last pair of lenses came back from the lab with the close-focus insets in two different positions and at different angles. In spite all these errors, they refused me any remedy except another pair of the too-close lenses, despite the fact that the one option between the too-far and too-close prescriptions would have required no further testing. My only mistake was in politely accepting that these people were competent in their jobs.
