Lada is close to finishing our dream home - less than a month to go. I'm writing about our thoughts, observations and results now rather than after moving in because the journey to occupancy is just as critical as what you think of the final product.
My wife and I have owned eight homes (counting our Lada home), with six being new construction. We're not very young and did not think we would undertake a new home construction this late in life, but we did and we have zero regrets due to our experience with Lada Construction. Our experience with Paul and Steve has been simply excellent, exceeding any past home building experiences as well as our expectations. Honest, down to earth, no surprises, no disappointments, easy to talk with, are just a few of the simple ways to describe our journey with them. I hope you noticed I have yet to detail the pride and workmanship that went into our new home, I'll save that for a later time after we move in, but based on what we've seen so far, it will simply follow the same level of accolades as this review.
Before we contracted with Lada, we followed several of their builds over the course of a couple years. We watched the construction of several homes from beginning to end, making sure we watched and spoke to each trade to gage not only their work quality but also how they felt about building for Paul and Steve. Everyone talked very highly about them, always referencing them by first name. Compliments such as, always treated with respect, no short-cuts on materials or workmanship always paid on time, insists on clean work site, etc was consistent with everyone we spoke to. We realized quality workmanship is best achieved with workers who like what they are doing and who are treated well.
In summary, if your considering a new custom home, it would be worth your time to talk with Steve and Paul Lada. read more
