The lines you see are really fake lines because of how slow they are moving in the stores. Check out at Gucci, took 45 minutes due to incompetence and slowness - unbelievable. Prada and Chloe were some of the only pleasant experiences. Just not worth it being almost an hour drive/metro from Paris.

Most stores have very few selections and are the older season items. The only full stores with wide selections were couple stores like Burberry and Gucci. What I did like was Maje and there's a never ending indoor mall next to the village called the Centre Commercial Val d'Europe where you can shop from Zara, Mango, H&M, and Uniqlo without the mass crowd like in the city. Also, if you download a promo QR code you can snag a free treat (differ during promo period but at the time, I claimed 2 free macarons at Laudree). Lots of departments to peruse through and so much selection to choose from. Service is okay, need to search for someone if you need to ask for help. Most of the time they are too busy cleaning or merchandising their departments. The cassis (checkout) was so messy with people leaving miscellaneous items they don't want. Oh well.

Turned out this place sold at a discount which made me even more happy that I decided to jump in line. The lines get long especially on weekends but I thought it was with the wait. I think I waited in line for about 30 minutes in total. The staff don't hover or bother you unless you want to buy something which is nice. Once you engage, they are funny and very nice. Most of the staff speak English. The cashier team fill out your VAT paperwork and make it very simple for you. Definitely a place I'd stop by again if in France!
