Late and Saturday appointments are what got me to try this place. Friendly staff and respectful of my time.

I met Sue the technician. During that time, she asked me when I was going back to my country. I maintained my cool and spoke nicely and not make a fight. But she kept being nasty, like her attitude just suddenly changed to a nasty hateful person. I didn't do anything wrong or say anything wrong. I never retaliated and said anything bad to her, but she kept asking when you going back to your country; you had to go back; but I am an American citizen; I am a hard worker and a nurse. Most of my family is nurses and in the medical field. I don't know if the entire staff doesn't like brown skin or immigrants. If they do, please post it in your office only for white people.

My appointment was initially scheduled for two CT scans, but when I arrived, I was told I couldn't proceed because no one had informed me that I needed to drink a contrast solution beforehand. Later, I received a call canceling my rescheduled appointment due to a supposed lack of insurance authorization--despite the fact that I did have the authorization. I tried calling the office to sort it out, but it took over 30 minutes for someone to answer the phone. I finally drove to the location in person and was given a new appointment. On the day of that appointment, after following all instructions and drinking the preparation solution (which was unpleasant), I showed up only to be told that my appointment had been canceled again. First, they claimed I had already completed the test. Then they said I still didn't have authorization. After sitting there for an hour and getting nowhere, I offered to pay out of pocket just to finally get it done. Initially, they said I couldn't--but then changed their mind and accepted my payment. I ended up paying $390 for a test that should have been covered by my insurance. This facility clearly struggles with communication and coordination. They rarely answer calls, and the third-party service they use for scheduling is completely unreliable. Stay away if you value your time, money, or sanity.

I had a breast biopsy at the Mule road, Tom's River location and they damaged my breast. First off,…read morethey claimed that their new AI computer screening was more detailed than just a regular mammo and ultrasound. I paid an extra $25 for the AI screen. 2nd, I was told that I had calcification in my left breast tissue. 3rd, they hassled me through email, texts and phone calls to get a biopsy done. Not a day went by for 2 months that I wasnt hounded to schedule it. I was not even sure that I was going to choose to have a biopsy for calcification because dense breasts tend to have that normally. In the end, I scheduled and went through with the biopsy. 4th, they use a machine, not a needle that jabbed deep into my breast, it was very alarming. 5th, 20 minutes after I got home I had blood pouring out of my breast to the floor, down my clothes and all over my shoes! I called the office, only to get an answering service that dont speak English. After that I called 9-1-1 and two male medics came to my home and bandaged my breast properly, and they also tried to reach the office to no avail! Lastly, I went though the past 4 weeks with a badly bruised breast, armpit, my chest and stomach area. And the pain was surreal! Every step I take is painful, after all, our breasts do move. Now I am stuck with a big lump where that machine penetrated me. The lump is hard, deep and larger than my nipple. I do not recommend NJ imaging for your breast needs. Please find a better mammogram and biopsy center. This has been so traumatizing for me. I hate touching my chest now and refuse to look in the mirror. They destroyed my right breast, and it was unnecessary. Calcifications are normal, I feel they pressured me to get this biopsy done and of course the results were negative in the end. Please think deeply before getting a biopsy. And please do not use this facility. Protect your body from this awful damage. I will be seeking restitution for what they've done to me, I dont want to be forced to live with a lump in my breast, and it was perfect before this. Stay safe and get 2nd opinions for any procedure.

They followed up with I needed a "diagnostic" follow up mammogram and ultrasound due to dense breasts. First time ever diagnosed with this. Followed up, after another ton of "compression" pictures they never did the ultrasound, even though my script called for one. I asked twice. Called me back later due to distortion and NOW they were actually going to perform the ultrasound. Needless to say everything came back normal. In my opinion one of the 3 ladies at the front desk actually works and knows what's going on. The mammo tech and ultrasound techs were great but the doctor reading the tests clueless. Will never go there again. Only reason I went there initially wasdue to them accepting VA Choice insurance, which sadly the worse places seem to accept!!

I have two friends that had that same procedure done about a year and a half ago, and they both went there and said very positive things. In the interim some friends that I spoke to said that they would never go to Community for various reasons. My experience !! It was seamless. We pulled up to the entrance and somebody was right there to valet our car, I was directed to the lab area, and had all my tests done, it was so easy. I met a nurse there I believe her name was Liz and she was so friendly and comforting. But from the time I checked in at the desk to the time I left everybody that I came in contact with was wonderful!! I had my surgery on February 26th and I went home on February 27. From start to finish it was a very pleasant experience. I just now wish that I hadn't been afraid to do it and I put it off for way too long. My Dr is Dr.Nugent and he is absolutely the best. It was a brutal five day stay of poor decisions that increased her pain and discomfort. The nurses were kind, but frustrated with orders that did not make sense for her care. The care was neglectful and badly handled. The only true practical help we received was from the hospice care nurses who helped us a better care plan for mom. I felt the doctors wanted to prove they could fix an unfixable problem. Be prepared to advocate for yourself if you must go there. Definitely, not the hospital it used to be.
