Ot was quick because I take good care of my teeth. They charged me $70 for the cleaning even though my dental insurance covers that cost. When I asked why, the answer was because I hadn't been in the office for a while, or something to that effect. I could understand if the cleaning took longer than expected, but that was not the case. The dental hygienist seemed surprised that I had a broken tooth even though I mentioned that was why I was making the appointment when I called. They set an appointment for January 6 and I called on the fifth to check the time we had set. They didn't have me on the schedule, but said they may be able to work me in and would call me back shortly. I had another appointment. I was waiting to set based on the time they would tell me to come in. Did not get a callback for two days. I've been a patient there since they opened but made an appointment with a local dentist instead.

The dentist was running behind and asked to reschedule me because the dentist was not available. I never received ANY service -- no exam, no cleaning, nothing. Despite that, the office deliberately slipped my "bill" onto my husband's account and charged him for both his real treatment and my nonexistent visit. My husband had no idea they combined our charges until AFTER we left the office and talked about what happened. That is deceitful, dishonest, and unethical. When I confronted them, they admitted they were wrong. But the truth is simple: if I hadn't spoken up, they would've happily kept the money they stole. After the first appointment was canceled, he attempted to reschedule, which wasn't made easy by the person working the front desk. Nothing was available. Finally, he was offered an appointment for a Monday, knowing he would need to leave early from a previously planned, out-of-town long-weekend with his family. He spent Fathers Day with us in North Texas and drove back to Lafayette that afternoon, getting in after midnight to make sure he would make his appointment Monday afternoon. Then, I get a call at 9a, the day of the appointment, telling me the appointment needs to be canceled. Amazingly unprofessional. To anyone looking for a new dentist, I recommend finding literally any another option. We haven't even been seen for an appointment, and our experiences with this location have been terrible.
