Better than being unemployed. I've had 2 jobs pay me for 8 hours of work, even though I worked less than 6.

Lets just say I went in there for the first time to see what kind of job opportunities they had due to a lay off less than a week ago. I walked in the door with my sister who was also interested in work. There were 4 employees in the front desk area and not one of them turned or even acknowledged that we had walked in and then we stood there completely ignored for at least 2 minutes while they continued to talk to eachother and then finally one of them turned and said can I help you in an annoyed voice like we were bothering her. She told us to sit down and fill out an application on the computer and that they were having a meeting, this was at 10:45 in the morning. I was irritated by then and stood there debating if this is a company I would even want to work for due to the staff being completely disrespectful, rude, unprofessional, not personable, and obviously not there to help people. We ended up just walking out and I will never return to this location again. I feel sorry for the individuals that have this agency as there only option due to lack of transportation or whatever the case may be because they will be treated like the gum stuck to the bottom of a shoe. If you have any other options, for your sake, don't go here! read more

Worse than Labor Ready. Lie to your face to get you to a job site, then you are trapped with the work whatever it is if you want to take home minimum wage. Even if the full day promised is just a mere 3 hours. Lets not forget about the hassle of getting them to honor their Own policy about minimum pay is for 4 hrs. Two weeks beforehand another worker and myself were sent to "pull nails" all day. 1.5 hrs later all the nails are pulled and we are now expected to work with corrosive chemicals with no protection provided. Ruined a good pair of work pants and boots, chemical burns on my hands and knees and even fume burns to my eyes! Just because I am trying to pay the bills during a job search. Oh and because they lie to your face. So in the end it cost me over 75$ that day to earn a measly 60$ You will seriously do better to go elsewhere for temp work. Don't help those people make an easy living off of your back. read more
