The first time (was also my first time in a Haman place) I went to this place I was very well helped by the staff. I had no clue how it worked. Especially once you are in the Haman part there is a small corner where you can buy some drinks and food. The lady really explained it very well and was so nice with us. The Hamam is divided in 5 - 6 parts (you have to follow a path). And you can end with a massage, for this you have to pay extra off course :) The cool thing about this Hamam is, wenn you are a member of one of the 5 Gyms from Migros in Zurich, you can go for only 5 SFr. Really worth it. If you are in Niederdorf and need some relaxation time, just pass by.

I complained to the front desk and they said they'd relay the experience I had to the manager (German speaking). For anyone going there for service, steer clear of Lino, he clearly had anger issues. It's only because of my encounter with him that I rated this facility a 3-star instead of 5.

If you are getting a massage, they ask that you arrive 2 hours beforehand to do the Roman-Irish spa ritual. Compared to other spas I've been to, the temperatures were comfortable and weren't overly hot or cold in any of the saunas or pools. Some things that were unique compared to other spas I've been to were that exfoliating and laying down on a warm stone were steps in the spa ritual. The spa ritual ends with lounge rooms where you can take a nap, read a book, and drink water and tea. In addition to the Roman-Irish spa ritual there is also a roof top infinity pool with great views of Zürich and a Thermal Bath. My favorite thing was the rain shower in the Thermal Bath because I've never experienced anything like it. You step in this shower and there are 3 shower heads that turn on in sequence with lights and sounds of rain and thunder, alternating cold and hot.

They really help you styling your hair and give good advice. And they take their time with you. For a men haircut you have to count 45 min. The cool thing is that you sit a huge disformed table in a normal Eames chair. And they put a mirror then on the table once they start. It is expensive. I was greeted by Tamara who was super nice and easy going. The salon is very nice and different from any hair salons I am accustomed to in the US. There are no rows of chairs, but rather a "community table" where clients sit around the table and get their hair done. I think its cool and you don't feel like you are part of an assembly line. After a short consultation session she made me feel at ease and I knew I was in good hands. Hair cut was great, shampoo and rinse was awesome, I could have fallen asleep if she kept going.
