Both of the practitioners were very friendly. Neither my husband nor myself had any complaints about the actual massages or the girl's techniques. Our only complaints are they are conducted on thin mats on the floor. This makes it difficult for the head, shoulders, and upper back areas to be thoroughly worked on. Considering that is the area I really wanted to have worked, I was bummed by the lack of massage table. Another complaint is this is a cash only place. I have no problems with cash only establishments IF I KNOW IN ADVANCE. Massages cost 100chf each so we needed 200chf and we did not have the cash on us. They do not accept any form of credit payments nor do they accept the post finance card. My husband had to run to Sihlcity to get money from the atm and I was stuck waiting for him in the lounge. Had we been made aware of the payment policy we would have brought the cash. I called on Thursday to make the appointments for the next day. I called again on Friday to confirm the appointments so during one of these two calls a quick heads up on the payment policy would have been greatly appreciated.

At home in New York we call it a basic pedicure which is where they soak your feet for five minutes in water, remove your polish, clean the cuticles and polish your toes. It was my first time going to a hamman so I wasn't to sure how it worked and I was by myself so nobody to tell me. The lady at the reception gave me a leaflet showing the different steps, plus there is many signs in the hamman explaining you what to do and the benefits of each step. All signs have both German and English. For the entrance fee they give you everything you need including cloths to wear in the hamman, a scrubbing glove, a mud pack and body lotion. I found it really relaxing and will certainly go again.
