While the staff member was polite and kind, and the facility appeared clean, I really feel that pediatric patients need a more specialized approach. Drawing blood from an adult is very different from drawing blood from a young child. Both times, the experience was extremely stressful and traumatic because everything took place in a standard room designed for adults, with nothing to help distract or comfort a child. It would make a big difference to have at least one pediatric-friendly room with colorful decorations, toys, or other tools designed to make the process less frightening. I know there are also specific techniques and equipment available to make blood draws easier for children. The service itself was professional, but I believe the lack of a child-friendly environment is an important area for improvement.

If you schedule an appointment online and sign in on time the wait is very short...at least this has been my experience. A gentleman came in behind me today without an appointment. He signed in at the kiosk as required but didn't complete it correctly. In a few minutes a staff member came out to help him complete his registration so he could get his drug test for a job application. The lady who drew my blood was excellent. I barely felt the needle...and that's saying a lot since my threshold for pain is very low. They verified my name on every tube and I was in and out in 10 minutes. They made the experience as good as getting blood taken can be.

But Rapid Care can get your results back in an hour or less. For me, it took only about thirty minutes. The caveat to this? Rapid Care is its own lab, but that means they can't file claims directly with insurance providers. You'll need to do the insurance company's paperwork after you pay. Still, if you need results ASAP, this is definitely a solid option. Appointments can be made online through the Rapid Care website.

From. moment I walked in front door I was greeted with upmost friendliest receptionist who cared why I was there. A nurse came to get me very quickly she asked lots questions on why I was there, my history, all about my symptoms, she never rushed me at all. She explained everything she was going to do before she did it ask permission to do any treatment. Seen Lindsay Morgan she was awesome, took a lot time with me, listen to everything I described on what I was going thru. I was very impressed that they cared so much they refused to let me leave till they gave me a Breathing Treatment. I will come back here for me Urgent Care needs. I'm done with Novant

What a sad and terrible experience I had specifically at this location with Dr. Lindsey Morgan…read moreeveryone else was sweet and kind- she was very rude coming in. She told me that I needed to tell the front desk that I was diagnosed with Covid when I had already told the front desk and she claims I didn't . She accused me twice and with an attitude . My husband was with me and he even heard me tell the front desk guy I had COVID. Then she proceeded to ask me what was wrong Instead of looking at my chart for all the questions I had answered to the earlier nurse she made me tell her my symptoms all over again and mentioned to me she can't do anything to it because it's Covid . I told her the reason I came in was due to my Telemed doctor visit and that I was worried. I had shortness of breath and chest pain She said she will do "X-rays " but then said that they aren't going to find anything , downplaying the X-ray that she mentioned. She left because the person that was going to get my X-rays( super sweet lady ) was going to come in- she found me crying in the the room I had just been checked and she was very empathetic so kind to me - I have never in my life experienced such horrible , unprofessional treatment I would not recommend DR Lindsay Morgan to anybody . She should not work as a Doctor if she is going to be so dismissive towards her patients . She didn't even touch my chest to see how painful my chest felt or no sign of care I will not be going back .

When my wife had a major procedure a few years ago, the experience was excellent. When I had a brief scare (which turned out fine), my general practitioner was on it with a quick referral to a specialist who examined, performed some tests and provided a detailed explanation of the issue. I've been back for follow ups annually since then. I had my annual physical a few weeks ago. Full blood tests and exam. Complete and detailed results in a few days through the portal. All is well though I'm a little Vitamin D deficient. Oops. And that brings me to the purpose for today's review. I sent a quick email to my general practitioner this evening at 4:30 PM. He replied within 45 minutes. Dang, doc. *I* don't reply to my work emails that fast! I'm definitely a fan of Novant. I'll be hoping my work insurance keeps me in this system for a while. I am writing to express my extreme frustration regarding the handling of my appointment scheduling…read moreand the terrible customer service I received this evening. At 5:22 PM, I received a text message offering an earlier appointment for my surgical consult, which stated I had until 11:00 PM to respond. I accepted the offer at 5:46 PM, only to receive an immediate response stating that the time slot was no longer available. I already had issues with your practice because, I was informed a couple weeks back that my original doctor left the practice and the earliest available replacement appointment is not until January. Pushing my consult out by months drastically delays my required surgery. When I called at 6:00 PM to resolve this, the representative informed me that the automated text message had been sent out to multiple people simultaneously. It makes no sense to give a patient until 11:00 PM to reply to a text that is sent as a first-come, first-served message to multiple individuals. On top of this absurd policy, the representative hung up on me mid-conversation. This level of administrative failure and unprofessional behavior is entirely unacceptable.
