I'm sure at some point everyone has visited a Lab Corps. They've never been the most pleasant place to go. Generally there's always a long wait and I've never known of a location to be overly friendly. This location stands pretty true so the routine. Not very friendly reception staff. The little kiosks they set up for you to check in never seem to work properly. The first kiosk I used wouldn't allow me to check in so I went to the reception desk to have them check me in and she just sent me to another kiosk! She never put an out of order sign on the one that wasn't working. It's not as if they were overly busy because she was just talking to her fellow employee. I had taken the time to set up the appointment and put in all the information on my computer at home before my appointment so it would be expedited as it says. But the scanner doesn't work to scan the barcode that printed out, so to me, that was just a waste of the time!! Because I still had to manually enter all of the information anyway. There were only about 5 people in the waiting room. I waited about 45 minutes. The gentleman taking taking the labs was nice and did it pretty quickly. Went in for employment drug screening. Summary: I felt unclean was given poor advice. Let's get into it. I was seen 45 minutes after my scheduled weekday appointment. The QR code on the LabCorp email didn't work, but that's on corporate. Is it normal to have no sanitary wipes given? I was instructed to wash my hands twice, but I didn't feel very clean. Staff was talkative amongst themselves. This is fine except an employee gave me the 'wait one moment' finger gesture several times so someone could finish sharing a personal story. The biggest issue: I knew my urine test would come up positive for a compound included in my controlled prescription medication. I asked my urine collector if I could immediately provide my medication information, or if LabCorp will call me later to verify if I take a prescribed drug with the compound. The employee advised me I should tell my employer I take the drug. What?? "Interesting," was my reply. This initiated a conversation in which 1) I described my prior LabCorp experience (LabCorp calling after my visit to inquire my Rx prescriptions) and 2) the employee confessed a lack of knowledge on the subject they advised me on. It is poor advice for me to tell my employer what meds I'm on. Imagine telling your employer's HR you're on something like antidepressants and later learning they didn't need to know. Because the employee didn't know if LabCorp would call my employer or call me, their answer should have been, "I don't know." Their poor information and communication could harm someone's career. Walked in about 15 minutes prior to my prescheduled appointment. Hardly anyone here this morning and yet appointment was missed by more than 15 minutes. Nobody was here to slow down the process which is the norm with Labcorp, they are just quite slow and going at their pace. Getting blood work done is never fun, and sitting in a cold lobby and wondering why the employees cannot move quicker is another. Wish they could automate taking blood. read more

3 1/2 stars This is one of the better Lab Corp locations I have been to. At other Lab Corp locations I feel like I am waiting in a herd of cattle! Here, they only take appointments (no walk-ins) so the waiting room does not get so crowded. Plus, it was pretty easy to get appointments on short notice. My son and was I went together to get our blood drawn (nice mother and son activity!) and waited half an hour from our appointment times. Yes, it would be nice if they honored appointment times but I have had to wait much longer at other locations, even with an appointment. The techs were very good. The tech that took care of my son was very considerate of the fact that he was dealing with a teen. This is not the closet Lab Corp to my house, but it was worth the drive! read more

My experience was quite opposite from most of the reviewers here. Followed my appointment, I got there 15 mins early and checking in through the link I got when I confirmed my appointment while I waited inside my car. Less than 3 mins I got a notification that they are ready for me. I went inside the building and went to the 2nd floor where this Lapcorp located. I finished everything I needed to be done within 20-25 mins. Everyone there was very nice and professional. I had to wait at the lobby less than 5 mins and they set all the chairs apart for the social distance. It was a great experience at this location. read more

Girl at desk tells me NO!, see the sign of course since i got on their website and it stated walk-ins welcome how would I knw what the heck her signage In Office stated. Asked if she could set an appointment she stated NO!, get on line and do it. this is the 2nd time I have been under obligation to use them for employee screening I would not choose them or any lab corp. The employees go out of their way to be rude and are not at all into customer service. regardless of what the website states they go out of their way to do the opposite. LABCORP who the heck are you hiring. She tells me everywhere else is walking and gives me a paper with highlighted locations. I tried calling before i left but they do not answer their phones. I'll start with the lady that drew my sons labs was amazing. She was so good with him. He's only 3 he didn't cry or move. It was in and out. Now for the man at the front desk. He needs lots of training on customer service. When I walked he was told his coworker "I don't need to hear your excuses". The. He gave the guy in front of me an attitude. When I came out of the bathroom he said I've been calling! Then he when on to have a nasty attitude with another man. I don't know the situation but he was raising his voice and extremely unprofessional. Why is zero stars not an option? I hate this Lab Corp. I truly do. I've made 5 or 6 appointments here for blood work for my kids and we have not made it through any of them. We are still waiting to do their blood work. Each time, they are running 1-2 and sometimes 2-3 hours behind, even though we have an appointment and my kids are fasting. It's so horrible and their insurance only allows them to do blood work at Lab Corp. I really despise this place. I'm not making my kids sit in this dirty place with 50+ other people while they are starving. Most of the time we have to wait in the hallway because all of the seats are filled in the waiting area. After 30 minutes we just can't wait anymore, it's too hard with multiple kids and a two year old that cannot sit still for 3 hours in one spot. I've made appointments at the other location in Coral Springs and tried the walk in one in Hollywood, we've literally driven all around town trying to get their blood work done and every time, every single Lab Corp was running hours behind. To begin with, you cannot call the office directly to schedule an appointment or reach them on site for any reason. The place kind of seemed dirty and personnel disinterested. Then I found the place lost the doctors blood draw orders so I had to scramble and have them replaced. The phlebotomist used a giant needle and stuck my arm and missed. She did not seem to know what she was doing. I asked for somebody else, and then when I asked that person why they were drawing blood with such giant needles, she said "we are the weekend crew and don't have all of the usual equipment" Awful, unprofessional. read more

I want to revise my review for this location. Since having my mediocre first experience I've been here for blood work several times. As long as I confirm that I actually set my appointment online and get the confirmation email, I have had no issues. Front staff has been much friendlier than the first time and they tried to help me find another location when I messed up my appointment by not reaching the final confirmation screen online. I haven't had any issues when I get my blood drawn (and hope not to). Thanks for making it convenient for me to make an appointment and get my lab work done expeditiously, and for getting my results to my doctors so quickly! read more

It's so busy and I honestly do not know why we even bother to make an appointment when the wait time is more than an hour even if you come in 15 mins early. Not the greatest looking place. To make an appt online is great esp during everything going on with covid, you can check in when you get there and wait in your car until you get a text that the lab tech is ready to see you. My appt was for 9:30 (regular routine labs). I get the text at like 9:28 that they are ready. I get inside and give the front desk girl my lab paper and still waited another 30 mins until actually being called. Oh and the customer toilet was disgusting. read more

I'd love to write a good review about this location. But unfortunately, I can't. I've come here twice now, the first thinking I could walk in and within a decent period of time, I would be able to get my blood work done. Unfortunately, the wait was all day and I couldn't stay that long. The woman at the desk suggested I make an appointment. You can't make it in person- you have to either call or make one online. The process to make the appointment is easy and they have multiple times you can choose from. However, I show up today at my regularly scheduled time, 9:45am, and there are more people in here than there are seats for them to sit. It's a very small waiting room and "there is only one person working." Which is probably their go-to line. Because based off of previous reviews, it seems like a regular occurrence. I know this is pretty typical of LabCorps to have to wait for a while. But they have to do better. I've been waiting for over an hour and they are still working on the people that came in before me. Hire more people so that when getting your blood work done- this process can be more efficient for everyone. read more

The room is full of people complaining from the wait since they have been sitting for a min of one-hour plus, some had no where to sit and there was a pregnant lady crying from the wait and having to go through the bathroom. This location is a mile from my home so I gave it a shot, two shots actually. Both times I had an appointment and both times I had to wait an hour + before I was seen. Both times I 'complained' about the wait - and by complain I mean calmly express my displeasure with the way they handled their appointments. According to them they schedule eight appointments every 15 minutes. Unfortunately they don't have the staff to properly handle that volume. My 'complaints' were dismissed with "I'm sorry we are working on it, nothing we can do." My two visits were months apart, and nothing changes in that time. This company/location obviously has not concern for their clients or basic human respect. Both times I have seen pregnant, elderly, disabled wait unnecessarily. I've been coming to this location for over two years to have my blood drawn. I know that I'm a real hard stick and this time was no exception. The technician took his time looking for a vein but didn't stick me. Another woman was called in to look. I need to have nine tubes drawn this time as I saved up lab requests. I went here recently and was so please accurate staffs and so pleasant. I went earlier than my 12pm appointment as i had made it online, i got through and was out the door by 12.10pm and they had a lot of people there. To top it off i am hard stick with fine veins and the lady who took my blood did so with one stick i was so pleased. What a POS place. The receptionist at the front desk has a horrible attitude. I made an appointment, made it to my appointment on time. I showed her the form I needed to get completed and then she told me there is a replacement form for it on her screen. When I pulled it up on my phone I asked her if this is the form she sees and she said yes but I need you to print it out. I asked if she could print it there since I DO HAVE the original copy and I showed her that the replacement form on my phone matches her screen and she told me no you will have to go home print it and come back and that they are by appointment only so I would have to reschedule. Seriously? You have a printer next to you and I showed you both papers which one I physically have in my hand. This place just wasted my time!! Do not go to this location or any Labcorp for that matter. The office is disorganized and wait time is ridiculous even if you have an appointment. They will refuse to see you unless you have a credit card you can leave a deposit on. They will charge your card without your permission if you give it to them. If you do not have your insurance card you can forget about being seen. The front desk staff will not work with you to verify your insurance coverage even though it is a simple task on their website. They supervisor is worthless and offered no assistance. I even called the corporate office and they no help. They do not care about their patients, all they care about is your money and if you can't pay get out of their way. Their bathrooms are filthy. You are better off at Quest! read more

Horrible. Called me 2 weeks later to say that that they didn't take enough blood for the test needed. I had to call my doctor's office (Dr Teltser, Cardiologist in Cooper City ) to cancel my appointment that same day. The doctor office was excellent (and so is the doctor). I've never had an issue with LabCorp... Until this location... The recording on their phone says walk-ins will have the next appointment on the same day! The lady with the ratchet nails and bitchy attitude who clearly needs a new nail technician and attitude adjustment..Who was working the window with the customers... Told me they did not take walkins .. Although their recording says that all walk-ins will get the next available appointment on the same day!!!!!! The best part of it all is I told them I needed a simple drug screen(I pee in a cup and I'm gone) because my doctor requested it and they try to send me to the Hollywood location... Thankfully I called the lab corp number and spoke with someone who is at none of the locations... Which is always awesome ... And he informed me that no LabCorp's will be doing any type of drug testing on Saturday's, and then informed me it was on the website if you click this, this, and this... I'm just confused if it was on the website then why did tamarac labCorp send me to Hollywood LabCorp if none of them do drug screening on Saturdays!!! This office has no idea what they are doing! When I started counting how many people were in the room... It was only eight people! Eight people and three went back with in the time I was speaking with them!! The lady at the window responded "yeah that's a really good way to get help and handle things..." How else would you like for me to get help besides comparing the number of people in the waiting room to the number of open appointments YOU HAVE AVAILABLE!!!
