I did arrive late and Ms. Brittany said no worries that I would be next. I was so happy because I didn't want to reschedule. When I arrived the office was warm and Ms. Brittany was very friendly. We had a couple of side bar conversations about the state of the world we live in. It was nice to just talk to someone. The process for the procedure was seamless. My paperwork was partial complete so it took me no time to finish. After waiting I was quickly seen by the technician. She was very personable and sweet. She explained the procedures and what I needed to do to get great images. During the process I fell asleep. She told me one of the images had to be done because I moved. I knew I had moved when I woke myself up. She redid it and within 5 minutes I was done. She then explained that a copy would be sent to MRCP and I asked for a copy. She did the copy of images literally in 3 minutes. By the time I came back from the restroom she was done. This was a easy experience and if I ever need an MRI I am most definitely coming here and you should too.

It was a bit difficult to find as my GPS (google) directed me down a side street when the business is actually on Germantown ave. I found it two doors down from the eye doctor on the corner. I think this may be a new location. I was able to easily check in using the Ipad in the waiting room. There was no one else waiting so I was called back in 2 or 3 minutes. The process was much more involved than I realized. I produced my paperwork and ID, had to lock up my outer clothing, phone, and purse, selected a sample cup, had 60 seconds to produce a temperature appropriate sample, then watched her seal the sample and signed the paperwork. The whole process took about 10-15 minutes to complete and was very quick and easy. The technicians were affable and friendly.

Quest now has an easy electronic check-in, using a smart phone, although they are not usually very busy, and checking in on paper is not a problem. I usually schedule in advance online, and they seem always have convenient appointments available. The waiting area is comfortable and clean. The phlebotomist does a great job, quick and painless. The other great thing about this location is that it's across the street from Mt. Airy Breakfast & Lunch, one of my favorite diners in the area. So you can pop in early, get labs done, then head across the street for breakfast. Then, for the G-town Ave trifecta, take care of your banking in the Philadelphia Federal Credit Union next door. Okay, need stamps or need the mail something? Post office is right there. Isn't Germantown great?

From Day1 we were warned by the roommate "this place s#%$s!" My disabled brother is so vulnerable & we had to rely on the professionals to place him in a facility that could care for him when his former home closed. Initially we gave Ivy Hilgrace thinking, he's just gotten here, they have to get him in to their routine. I worked as a CNA throughout my college years & never have I ever seen such apathy & refusal to do one's job. If you're miserable or unable then get another job. To Arista Care, clearly you are a corporate money making machine wanting to cut as many corners as possible to maximize profits; you are not in the business of caring for anyone or anything other than your pockets. Stop blaming & do the right thing. Still, months later, visiting for the afternoon I saw no one give him care (greasy dandruff filled hair, layers of plaque covered his teeth & still in his hospital gown (it was 11:30AM). He needs special utensils to eat & is in danger of aspirating but they served him breakfast reclined in his bed. No one to assist or check on him. He entered Ivy Hill at a healthy weight & I was appalled to see his legs had wasted to spindles, glasses & hearing aids were missing but I certainly heard all the loud whispers, " Is she state?!?!". That's what they cared about. I'll spare you the gory details bc I also need to protect my brother's dignity. What was supposed to be a transitional place before he moved on to a hospital specializing in brain injury rehab turned into unnecessary months of begging for basic information in order to get him out of this hell. No one should be subject to this & I'm only grateful my parents don't have to see this. I was literally told by their Administrator to "be the squeaky wheel bc that's the only way things will get done..." & proceeds to wax poetic about his grandmother reveling in being called "the witch" when she had to advocate for her husband back when he was in a home. Really?!?! That was his answer. I was told to report it to state & surprise, they wouldn't accept anything that I reported bc they said I was not listed as PoA. I am. Ivy Hill has that information & just outright lied. The state is just as useless. They refused to take my pictures as proof bc they told me too many people doctor them up. Honestly. I just can't with these people & just hope they find peace in their hearts & do better. From the state down to this facility, the whole system is dysfunctional. Only someone with unlimited resources will be able to make these people atone for their sins.

Mind you prior to me placing her in this rehab facility for her to get better after her fall I looked at all the reviews online and they got almost a five star rating so I felt that it would be a good fit for my mom and it was pretty close for my dad to get to to visit my mom as well. Every time I went to see my mom after I went to work she would either in the wheelchair or in the bed. When I requested to speak with the physical therapy people I asked them what they were doing for my mom because she was walking before she got into this facility (of course before she fell) and I need to get her get back to being able to walk again. Needless to say the whole discharge process was done unprofessionally and my dad tried to appeal how they were discharging her but to no avail he lost that appeal. So my mother was discharged out of the facility with no home care set up no hospital bed no anything set up. I was also told by them my mothers baseline was strictly in the wheelchair and I refused to believe that because that was not my mom. Since she was discharged from the rehab the first week of May, she walks with a one person assist and she's able to go up and down steps as opposed to the Physical Therapist telling me that the max she can do is five steps and she goes up and down 13 so in my eyes this rehab facility is not worth it. Not to mention that I think my mom was being abused because they thought my mom wasn't in her right mind because she has slight dementia and she has Parkinson's but she was speaking fine when she got there but by the time she left she wasn't really speaking and she seems to be deteriorating as far parkinson's disease goes. But when she was able to speak she did tell me that somebody there was being mean to her but she refused to tell me exactly who and when I got home I noticed she had bruises on places of her body that she did not have when she entered the rehab. It took me a while to write this review because I had to calm myself down.. The first night out of rehab at home in her own bed she started screaming "no no no" in the middle of the night which led me to believe somebody was abusing my mom.. So I decided to wait until I cooled off and had a sensible head before I wrote a review about this company..I wouldn't put my worst enemy in this facility! It's a shame too because there are a lot of staff numbers that are really caring that I came across while she was in there but the person that abused my mom I hope they rot and I hope they get it back to either of them or one of their family members if they're ever in a situation that my mom was in. I work in healthcare and I treat people the way that I want to be treated when I go to work. I wish everybody had that attitude.
