Part 2 of 2 Related…read moreto Quest as a whole. This is not reflective of local staff. Businesses are prohibited from coercing individuals with disabilities, or their associates, from denying or LIMITING their rights under the ADA, including accommodations and auxiliary aids or services. EACH day that each act or omission continues, is a separate and distinct act of discrimination under the ADA and related laws. See Hamner v City of Trinidad. Quest diagnostics staff are not trained on the ADA and their legal department are imbeciles! I was threatened, coerced, intimidated, had my rights interfered with, was retaliated against, and was unlawfully forced to either leave their property or to be denied my CIVIL RIGHT to A/V record as a mitigating measure, a learned behavioral or adaptive neurological modification -- for memory related impairments for processing understanding, and assimilating related impairments and for safety related issues. I explained just like a service animal cannot be denied or a wheelchair or a walker, or a cane cannot be denied my auxiliary eight audio video record cannot be denied. They claimed HIPAA and privacy concerns. Well, guess what morons HIPAA compliance is on you; the responsibility rests with the duty-holder to safeguard PHI. If my ears and eyes can see it, you are violating HIPAA not me. Audio/ video Recording is NO different than my naked eyes and naked ears hearing it or seeing it! Quest knowingly, willfully, intentionally, and deliberately violated my civil rights on two occasions, and each day that passes as a separate and distinct actionable act of discrimination, and also invokes FDUPTA, FTC Act and Florida Tort recovery for both negligent and intentional infliction of emotional distress! Quest knew I was disabled, knew the accommodation that I recall, medically required, delayed me for 30 minutes, and then ultimately force me to either leave and be denied the services or to be denied my service animal, my wheelchair, my walker, my cane, or in my case-- my audio video recording as my auxiliary aid. Quests message to the public is loud and clear to me-- we do not respect or honor individuals with disabilities in our establishment. We will abuse you. Quest, never engaged and interactive process never inquired, never gave me a written decision, demonstrating how to request an accommodation with fundamentally alter, the nature of the service, which it would not, and never offered meet effective alternatives, so that to the maximum extent possible, I could participate in and benefit from their services. I was coerced, threatened, intimidated, and forced to forgo my medically necessary auxiliary aid or service, which cost them nothing. I was petrified the entire time that I was there. My independence, my dignity, and my civil rights were violated, callously, recklessly, and deliberately by Quest. I encourage anyone with a disability to reach out to me, the department of justice, the Florida commission on human relations, and to Quest if you have any similar issues based on Disability. For instance, another disability that requires a similar type of auxiliary aid or service, which many people may not know that they have this right to record is, if you are blind and you don't feel safe, or you may need to recall or describe an incident or a person or an event and you can't do that if you're blind, so are you video recording would be your eyes to help describe the situation what occurred who is involved and what happened. It is the equalizer. 42 USC 126 Subpart III and 28 CFR 36 is the title to the ADA that applies to Quest and every other business in the United States. I will be filing A complaint with the Florida commission on human relations, the department of health and human services on the federal and state level, the attorney, general, the department of justice, and contacting an attorney. I will not permit a company to violate my civil rights, and if my rights are being violated, how many other peoples rights are they violating on a daily basis across the country...? I am a proud Veteran and will not allow this to go unchallenged or be swept under the rug. Quest will comply and will compensate me for the preventable irreparable harm that they have caused me and continue to cause me. And I forgot to mention that when you walk into the lobby, there's no staff to greet you which is not ADA compliant! There are multiple of Disability's that are affected by that. You have to fumble to try to figure out what to do. The kiosk themselves are not ADA, compliant! The questions that they asked you or invasive of your privacy rights as well. They claim to be ADA compliant. Their website is not ADA compliant their survey they sent you after your visit is not ADA compliant and I have the test results to prove it. !

this place deserve no STARS!!! Had an appointment, checked…read morein at kiosk, it asked if I was going to wait inside or outside I chose outside because the place was packed...I get called from a customer waiting inside I thank her and go in, the Technician says oh, if you're outside, we're not go out there to call you. I said on your kiosk it gave me the option so you should go out and call me. If you're not going to go out there then don't give me the option on the Kiosk I followed your directions. So we're off to a bad start already. She then proceeded to look at my arms so she didn't even find one, and she just stuck me not once, but twice one in each arm. She started fishing for a vein which is when they move the needle around inside your arm in hopes they hook a vein, I told her to stop fishing. She says im not we frown upon that here I said but you are fishing STOP! She took me to a different lady for her to try n she wasn't any better a third lady comes tries and again nothing I HAD TO SAY just take it from my hand already with a butterfly needle as there was obviously a vein showing and of course success... this was my first time coming here and last!!! They don't know what they're doing and I would not recommend this location because they don't know how to do their job!!! The only way they'll find your vein. If it's already bulging, They SUCK!!
