Prepared to wait an average of 30 minutes after your appointment time, today mine was nearly an hour. I want to point out the lab text drawing the blood are wonderful and do a great job. My issue is the administrative part of the appointment checking in and making sure the labs are in the system. It seems disjointed and for an organization the size of Advent Health, the patient experience should be much better than it is today.

They have a little complimentary coffee bar and water area. However, by the time you may notice it, you will likely be called back. They are super fast and efficient. Including getting the results to the doctor on the same day. I do wish the website worked better for pulling up a copy. I can't ever seem to log in. They will also print a copy for you there. The restroom in the lobby area is huge. It is only 1 bathroom but its never so busy that its a problem. They take walkins and have special pricing for self pay patients on Wednesdays. I will not waste my time with LabCorp or Quest anymore with the level of prompt and courteous service that I get here at Vista.

The representative I spoke with was not only unprofessional and dismissive, but the call was abruptly disconnected--an action that is completely unacceptable. This was the same person that ignored me when I recently went to get my labs done at this location. As a customer, I expect courtesy, respect, and assistance, not to be treated rudely and hung up on. This experience reflects poorly on your organization and raises serious concerns about how calls are being handled and information is given to patients/clients.

On…read moremultiple occasions I have needed orders to get labs done and it has taken multiple days of hounding them over the phone to send the orders or they have neglected to send them altogether. On the first occasion it took me two days and over 10 phone calls to get someone from their office on the line. Even then when I requested that an order be made for a TB screening they sent a blank document over their patient portal, resulting in restarting the process of getting someone on the phone. Another similar incident just occurred today. I kindly asked that the office fill an order so that I may receive COVID testing and the same thing happened as last time: I called multiple times and still was not able to get the order placed. When I asked them to fax it to the Quest Diagnostics I had an appointment at, she said it was "done" BEFORE I was even done reading the fax number to her. Imagine my frustration when I show up to my appointment only to find out that they never sent the fax, the order they sent over the patient portal is inaccessible, and to top things off they close early on Fridays so they were unreachable. As a result of this office's negligence I will not be able to receive a COVID screening. These incidents are testament to just how little this practice cares for its patients. But it is not only the lousy front desk that leaves patients with a foul taste in their mouths; Dr. Teran is also completely out of touch with the needs of his patients. I came in to the office to receive treatment for a mild fungal infection, and after receiving a cold welcome from the ladies at the front desk I spoke with Teran about the problem, who then proceeded to address other things that I didn't come in.This led to him ordering a multitude of tests that I DIDN'T NEED, including an Allergy Panel (a very expensive test and one I had already completed before). This blase approach to ordering tests resulted in me unnecessarily spending more money and wasting my time. This office has consistently shown its lack of regard for its patients' time, money, and wellbeing. I have given this office MANY chances naively believing that"it was an off day" or that "next time they won't treat me like this." Well, I am here to tell you that their disregard for patients is not a fluke but rather a consistent characterization of their care, their attitude towards other people, and their negligence. I will no longer be receiving care from Dr. Teran or his office and suggest that anyone looking for a primary provider LOOK ELSEWHERE. This ain't it.

The staff are efficient and friendly. Honestly, I prefer it over a quest where it's always packed and you're just a number. They saw me right around my scheduled appt time. The tech was very friendly and understanding of my fear of needles. She was quick with the draw and let me hang out to make sure I was A-OK! If you need to go get labs done, this is a great place. Giving it only 4 stars because they used to have a cafe setup downstairs, but now it sits empty. :( After fasting all morning it would've been nice to grab some food and a coffee. I hope a new local vendor takes a chance and sets up there in the future.

Plenty of parking out front with accessible spaces near the entrance and an accessible entrance. Regardless of who you were seeing you stop at the main desk downstairs to check in. There is almost always multiple people here and they're very fast and efficient. My doctor is on the second floor and you have a choice between the elevator or the staircase. These days I opt for the staircase because my doctors want me exercising as much as possible. It's never a long wait for me as they always bring me in right around my actual appointment time. Everyone is professional and courteous, and the doctor and their staff all listen to what I have to say. My appointments are fairly short as my care is very well managed these days. Even though this doctor is now almost an hour drive for me. I still find it worthwhile to make the trip for the quality of Care.

Very clean place with pleasant staff. Arrived a little past 8am and the wait was about 1hr with three patients ahead of me. It then turned to 4 when some random guy came in and was brought back before this other patient and I. Saw the PA and it was about 4mins long. Prescription sent to pharmacy and I was on my way.

I came back to get the Covid vaccine and was seen within 15 minutes. They took more precautions with sectioned off areas, which I appreciated. They go through the procedure you are going through, along with a paper that will explain it more. The nurses are always my favorite part about coming here. They make you feel that you are in a safe zone, while being friendly. Overall great service!

My daughter's annuals are super easy because they get right to the point and focus on my daughter. They are always happy to answer and concerns I have but it is so nice to run through the appointments smoothly. I have been to other offices where the NP just had a generally slow pace about them and it drove me crazy! It is evident that staff cares for each other and I have seen this extended towards my daughter several times even in the MA's interactions with her. While signing in there was no greetings, my children were new patience and I didn't receive any paper work until I returned to the window to inform the rude receptionist that we were new patience. She has no social graces. Once taken back the M.A. was wonderful and I thought, maybe the receptionist was having a bad day. But once the Nurse Practitioner came into the room and started judging me for being a single parent and telling me how I should and should not raise my children, I quickly realized this was not a good office for my children or myself. After all the rude remarks from the N.P. I opted to give my children the Hep A vac. and the nurse who injected my children wouldn't even converse with them in any way, shape or form, She didn't answer any of my questions and then barked at me to hold my children down or she will have a nurse do it for me. Needless to say, it was the most outrageous Dr. visit my children or I have ever experienced. Upon leaving I wanted to discuss my disappointments and concerns, but there wasn't anyone to be found to talk to. I called and left messages for the office manager, but there was and still is no response. Except for a call back from a nurse who wanted to argue with me and who didn't want to hear any of my concerns. Her theory was the "it's a business" and nothing was done incorrectly. Save yourself some time and just avoid them altogether.
