I found a traditional tea time in the land of pasta...
One week into my two week vacation, I was going through withdrawals for a traditional tea time. I walked into this tea room and was in awe of the wide selection of teas they have. I was also parched from the heat and humidity, so walking into a cool room full of tea was like stepping onto a tea cloud.
They offered several tea times, I chose the English tea time and they did NOT disappoint. The sandwiches were tasty, the scones were just the right size and I even ordered an Earl Grey tea cake on the side. The tea I chose was a cinnamon black tea - perfect for the fall season.
The service was warm and friendly, just like the tea and food. I would most definitely go back or recommend one to try them out, they are just on the other side of the bridge, downtown. They also have a tea shop located on the other side of the bridge, near shops downtown. read more
