There were 3 massive stages, several bars and food trucks, and many seating areas. The sound and light shows were incredible, and 2 of the stages are open air! There is tons of space to get away from the crowd, although generally the dance floors are not claustrophobic. There were enough washroom options as well, I didn't feel like I had to wait long for a washroom in most areas. They weren't terribly dirty, but obviously not the cleanest at a festival with 5000 people. Overall awesome experience. The only inconvenient thing is getting to and from the venue. The festival offered a return bus, but it was hard to find where you get it after. You have to walk down a crumbling sidewalk half a kilometer and through industrial parking lots. Some signs would have been incredibly helpful, especially if you are tired from dancing all night.

I went with a group, and it definitely helps that one of us knew the owners of this place as we were escorted straight into a VIP elevator which took us to the top floor -- a rooftop club with a retractable ceiling and a HUGE full bar! We started the night up there and it was only us, no other people. What a treat! Afterward, we took the elevator back down to the main venue, a giant hall with lots of private tables and dancers up on stage. I noticed that Teatro Kapital was celebrating its 30th anniversary, which means it outlasted Juliana's in Tokyo by three decades! :-D Next time I'm in Madrid, Teatro Kapital is going to be in my rotation!
