Nothing like the mostly mandated self checkout lanes at Smith with long lines waiting to use them just so you can self bag and self checkout at poorly maintained machines. Natural Grocers is a gem. So glad we at least have this option in town given the mess that Smith's has become over the last few years. I try to give my grocery business to Natural Grocers as much as possible.

If appointments are being accepted, customers should be able to reasonably expect to be seen around their scheduled time--or at least be informed of a significant delay. Being made to wait and then told there were six people ahead of us was extremely frustrating and felt very disrespectful of our time.
