I love a good and authentic Italian restaurant. I have learned that great Italian restaurants are situated in many different places. I had a lovely Rissotto dish here, which was outstanding. The customer service was warm and professional. Their priority is obviously in the food first.

Dutch below If you…read morelike Belgian-Italian fusion, this is the place for you. If you like real italian food, forget it. The pizza's are ok although they don't have that delightfully yeasty taste and the toppings are the cheapest available. I'm not sure, but the pizza might not even be made with real yeast at all. Since the pizza's are pretty cheap, that's more or less acceptable though. The canneloni I ordered was a huge disappointment. The flavour was ok, but the portion size was ridiculously small and the filling was a low grade sausage meat with more pork than beef. A serving of canneloni is 3 to 5 well stuffed pieces, what I got were 3 deflated noodly looking things. I had to go to another place to satisfy the remainder of my hunger afterwards. The most disturbing thing however was the way I was served. I do not mind the waitresses not speaking English, I do mind them clearly looking down on me and telling me to stop speaking Dutch as if I was intentionally embarassing them. I like service with a smile, even if it's fake, it's just a courtesy. Finally, I asked if Nastro Azurro was available, the pizza baker, without consulting me, quickly translated this to Jupiler. This place spoiled my night. Als je van Belgisch-Italiaanse fusie houdt is dit restaurant wel ok. Als je op zoek bent naar echt goed Italiaans eten kun je beter doorlopen. De pizza's zijn wel ok maar missen die echte gistsmaak in de bodem en de toppings zijn bijzonder matig van kwaliteit. Ik weet het niet zeker, maar misschien zit er wel helemaal geen gist in de pizzabodem. De pizza's zijn wel heel schappelijk geprijsd, dus dat is niet zo erg. De cannelloni die ik vanavond bestelde was teleurstellend. De smaak was wel ok, alhoewel de vulling duidelijk geen puur rund was. Het smaakte naar een braadworst. Normaal gezien is een portie 3 tot 5 goedgevulde stuks, wat ik kreeg waren drie leeggelopen flubbertjes. Ik heb nog elders heen moeten gaan om mijn honger te verzadigen. Het meest storende, en de reden dat ik deze slechte review plaats, is de service. Ik vond het helemaal niet erg dat de serveersters geen Nederlands spraken. Wat ik wel heel vervelend vond was dat er op me neer gekeken werd en dat de serveerster deed alsof ik haar opzettelijk aansprak in het Nederlands terwijl ik toch zou moeten weten dat zij dat varkenstaaltje niet sprak. Ik houd van service met een glimlach, zelfs al is die nep, dat is toch gewoon beleefd? Ten slotte vroeg ik of er Nastro Azurro beschikbaar was. Zonder mij verder in de beslissing te betrekken of antwoord te geven op die vraag kreeg ik Jupiler geserveerd. Dit restaurant heeft zojuist mijn avond verpest
