The venue is genuinely transportive--carrying you out of Spain and straight into the heart of…read moreIreland. For a restaurant in Spain, the seating capacity is impressive, and the decor complements the atmosphere remarkably well.
The food is solid, though not without a few shortcomings. The fish and chips were smaller and greasier than expected, and the chips with guacamole felt overpriced for the portion size. The Murphy's, however, was excellent. The menu is extensive, though it leans more toward Spanish cuisine than Irish.
The service was friendly and efficient. Our waiter was helpful, attentive, and spoke both English and Spanish.
Overall, it's a good experience--an ideal spot for a casual hangout or a drink
