My amazing health care plan is covered by my employer. I have had HealthNet PPO for 11 years…read morethrough our office. Which is good, because I am like a walking hospital bill - I've sprained an ankle, and broken toes, a foot, and a femur in the last five years. Yikes! HealthNet (and John Muir) have been with me every step of the way - even when those steps are using crutches, walkers, and wheelchairs. My femur surgery and subsequent hospital stay still cost me a ton of out of pocket until I hit my deductible (literally thousands of dollars), but that's how insurance works. The rest was covered, even home care and physical therapy. Unfortunately, my PT ran out of visits before I was healed and I still limp from time to time and experience pain semi-frequently. But I kind of blame that on the Physical Therapists for not pushing me harder at the beginning. My broken foot never even received PT, which I blame on the orthopedic specialist I've seen a couple times this year. Not all my medical bills and insurance coverage though are injury-related. I see doctors for preventative measures. I'm a picture of health right now so it's nice to have a team keeping me on track, and an insurance company that covers those visits. And on a much bigger scale, FAMILY PLANNING - my lady doctors and I love to talk about the exciting possibility of children in my future... which also makes me happy to know that I have great health coverage because that's not a road I would venture down without it! HealthNet recently sent me a survey on my experiences with their company and my doctors. Vanessa G. followed up on my responses and called me - we spoke, and then a few days later she sent a hand-written thank you card to my home. Girl! Thank YOU! I love someone who takes the time to show that something matters to them, and obviously your clients, and your job, matter to you!

If I could give negative stars I would. One star is GENEROUS. They are quite literally the WORST…read more Prepare to spend hours, weeks, months trying to accomplish something with no results. Expect them to deny claims for basic coverage (e.g. an annual screening mammogram at an in-network facility). Expect stock responses to any inquiry you make that show no real human considered a word you or your doctor said or wrote. If you have an abundance of time to waste on maddening phone calls and pointless letter-writing, by all means, this company is for you. THEY ARE TERRIBLE.

It was such a quick turnaround and they helped so quickly to make the transition easy for our group. I'm beyond thankful for how much they go above and beyond with any client, even a CoDA group securing a meeting location.

I was introduced to Lynx Insurance through my wife after we got married and began looking for joint…read moreinsurance policies together. I had multiple carriers for my auto, motorcycle, and rental insurance but was pleasantly surprised that Lynx was able to find better pricing and higher coverage through their network of insurance providers. Ken not only patiently answered all of my questions but responded quickly with multiple coverage scenarios, pricing, and thoughtful recommendations. Mostly, I appreciated the personal experience and didn't feel like I was being sold on certain name brand policies only. In the end I changed most of my policies over through Lynx and just kept my motorcycle coverage in place, but if I have any questions or want to re-price any of our current policies Ken is quick to help. I would highly recommend Lynx for any of your insurance needs even if you're not in or around the Los Angeles area. Their network and access to policies are far reaching so I've recommended Lynx to numerous friends and family who have also switched over.
