Although it is located in my native city of Boulogne Billancourt, just minutes outside of Paris,…read morethis bar is the kind of bar that many flock too from kilometers away. It is very unique, and it was and still is, ahead of it's time, mostly due to the awesome staff who works there. I discovered this phenomenal joint thanks to my oldest friend Jerome, who took me there on a nice evening, this being years ago and the second I walked in I was hooked. It was and still is to this day one of my favorite places to go out to for a drink and to talk to friends. Unfortunately I've moved out of the country years ago but my parents still live in that city and I make sure to swing by there on every trip back - alone or with friends. The staff is really friendly and sometimes recognizes me (although it has almost been a year a half now so I'm not sure they remember me at this point) and last time they even bought me a few rounds while grilling me about life in Boston. The place isn't too big, but big enough and features both tables and some nice couches - they serve beers, all kinds of awesome mixed drinks and tapas style food which is also very good. The staff is extremely friendly, prompt and the prices are competitive. There is absolutely nothing negative in this place that I can think about - no matter how hard I try, except maybe for the fact that it is exactly 3,434 miles away from me right now... Looking forward to returning there for a drink on my next visit home. I highly recommend it! And it's just a couple of minutes away from the Marcel Sembat subway station on line 9! Oh and did I mention that they have a giant screen which projects all kinds of stuff from soccer games to snowboarding, the Olympics or video games during the many events that they organize? There's always something happening - it's a ton of fun!

It was tucked in the corner, construction everywhere, we asked around n no one knew about it! and it really took effort to find this bar. Glad I did! There was a piano singer the night we went. The champagne is good, the music was in English, not too loud that you can carry in a conversation.

Christmas Eve cocktail while walking the sites. Our…read moredaughter treated after her co workers recommended it. In this elegant hotel, after navigating valeted sports cars, chauffeur driven Maybachs, and the nicest classic Citroen performance sedan I've seen, you enter a lobby cocktail lounge that is the Canlis of cocktail lounges! From the valet and door staff to the hostess, maitre d and elegant servers the service could not have been much finer. Including coat check from the table and lounge settee with chairs. The bar appears to be full of whatever you would like but a signature cocktail menu that reads like a beautiful coffee table book is given to everyone. The drinks with names like Corn, Apple, etc are given to elaborate cocktails that are crafted with multiple layers of ingredients. Seems weird but everyone loved theirs and we all shared sips. I highly recommend that here if you are familiar with your companions. Call your banker first as $30 per drink is average! But the girl I raised bought it so whatever? Wish I photographed that menu!! Service is bright with ample and thoughtful olive and nuts assortments and water backs for all without asking. For a splurge I could not urge enough of you to try!! Seeing this hotel property alone is worth it right down to the gilded bathrooms excellently attended. We did not try the food as they were just about to convert to first dinner service and we had Xmas Eve dinner for the family booked at a different Michelin star restaurant later. I'll bet the food is the shizzle though!!!
