My family of 8 stayed here for Three nights. The first night the incredibly small rooms that had…read moreonly a bed, dresser and bathroom my parents and friends received which had no air conditioner. my air dial was also broken. After a very hot sleepless night we told them the issue and they brought my parents the smallest fan in the world. And came and fixed our dial so it would work. Once again we had to complain. They moved my parents and friends rooms to bigger rooms with ac. Thank God! That first night I noticed ants on my bed so I brushed them off and tried to sleep. When I won't up at 4 I found bug bites all over my legs. I was grossed out and told my parents. One of the bites had been a spider and a part of my hip was huge. On the second night we found more bugs. And they never came to clean our rooms or give us new water bottles. Finally on the third night I woke up to more bugs in my best and I found there was a hole in the wall with them streaming out of it. I complained and they said they would take care of it. Before I left the bugs were still there and no one helped us. The outdoor pool is beautiful but there are not enough chairs to accommodate the amount of people staying here. The pool bar is not good there was a bartender who put sugar in my drinks that should never have sugar in them. My family made a reservation to go to dinner at the main restaurant. We got caught up in Siena and we canceled the reservations. They charged us a service fee to our room even though we did not eat there. The fee was like €15 a person. We had breakfast each morning and the first morning the kitchen was closed but the staff did not tell us for over an hour after we ordered eggs. If they had just said we do not have a way to cook it we would have moved on with our lives but instead we sat and waited for our food for too long. The stuff seemed mad and annoyed constantly and the servers were not helpful or attentive. The indoor pool was closed through out our stay. They used the small Church outside our building as a Laundry room. Very rude. I have traveled with my family for many years and I can not tell you how unhappy I am with our stay. We did not get what we expected from the Hilton name and as a points member I could not be more disappointed and dissatisfied. We will never return and that's quite sad because we wish to attend the Palio again. Get more staff, get red of the bugs and fix your staffs attitude. The only thing good was the pizza place even though we had to calla waiter over to take our order the food was lovely. The out door pool is nice. The only one to be helpful to us was Julia she tried so hard to help us with our troubles.

Ours slept 7 with three seperate rooms. There was a bathroom and a small kitchenette. Our tent could be unzipped and you could pull a nice sized table out onto the deck. The beds were comfortable and the property was fantastic. If you like to walk and stroll through paved wooded areas this is definitely a must do. The pools were superbly clean and the staff was super friendly. The beach was also maintained and enjoyable to walk on in the early morning. They had shows and a bar that stayed open till midnight poolside. There was also a nice restaurant on the property.

Great shower and over-sized, jacuzzi tub which was appreciated after long days of sightseeing. We just spent 10 nights and wished we could have stayed another 10! The location is great and it is close to Florence - approx 40 minutes by car or best to take the light rail that had free parking. The resort is centrally location for visits to Chianti, Siena, and other small quaint Tuscan towns. A must is a car - no Uber in Italy. The beds are very comfortable, lots of storage space to unpack - all rooms had large closets and dressers. We had a full kitchen which was nice to have; we used the refrigerator, but didn't cook. We enjoyed their terrific breakfast everyday sitting outside, overlooking the hills. The breakfast selection is exceptional - eggs, meats, cheese, fruit, many selections of sweets, jams, breads. Great cappuccino and the perfect spot to enjoy it! The breakfast service was very good and our apartment was fully cleaned at day 5 - clean sheets, towels, etc. There is also laundry facilities nearby. The property has secure, ample parking for cars - easy in and out. We were very happy with the service - breakfast service, reception, getting directions/recommendations, and help with luggage. Our apartment was on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, but our luggage was brought up and delivered to our car upon check out. This was a huge relief and was much appreciated! We love Italy and this was our 7th trip. We have been all over the country and normally stay in the city in at least a 4 or 5 star hotel. This property was a great choice for us and we feel this would be a great choice for anyone that wants to relax and enjoy the quite beauty of the countryside and does not mind planning some day trips. Sadly the room was not the one in the brochure and I emailed the hotel requesting a private terrace. the reply said all rooms had furnished terraces, but ours did not. had to go out of room/building to get to the terraces, which were very nice, but not what we expected. the 2 suites at the front of the block had direct access to one terrace but the guests hung their clothes on the loungers so could not be used by anyone else. hotel did not have a bar or restaurant - a restaurant on site, but not owned by the hotel. Nothing like the photos, not sure what has happened to the interior since the photos were taken. Food OK, steak very tough. Hotel info said restaurant did pool service 12 - 5 but it did not offer this which was a shame as you could not get a drink or snack from 12.30 - 5. pool are lovely and not overcrowded even when busy but no lounger pads until last day - and not enough for all beds. being picky here: only given one small toilet roll per day and 2 sachets of shower gel given on 2 days then no more; peanuts were not replenished from mini bar one day so we were charged for them. only one euro so not point in complaining but the little things.....

Ok, so there was no one to take our bags, no on site chapel or gym BUT the place is immaculate, the restaurant excellent, the rooms very large, the grounds gorgeous and the service extremely attentive. For those reasons, I would not recommend it for such a high price or any price.

I felt warped back in time. The upgrades give this place a nice touch of elegance and charm that made me feel right at home. The thermal waters that flow through their pools are both healing and relaxing. The staff is readily available to take ANY request. I honestly felt like royalty here. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here. My only gripe is with myself, I wish I was more adventurous with their food. I have to admit, as an American, I'm used to large portions and feeling stuffed afterwards. I did not feel that here, in fact, the food was just enough and their wine and cocktails options were on par with my expectations.
