This is a fun place to come in if you like things silky and flowey and that jingle in the night. The veils and saris range from 40 dollars and up and although it isn't a modern decor, the owner is sweet and it is a must visit for the serious or not so serious belly dancer. Very cultural, very exotic, and very ethnic.

ASSUMING that there would be a Guess store at Chinook, that's where I headed. Imagine my frustration when I got to Chinook and found out that there is NOT a Guess store there. WHAT?!?!? So in my mind, there were only two Guess stores that I knew of in our city: The one at South Centre Mall, and the one at Cross Iron Mills. Like hell I'm driving all the way to Balzac to go shopping at the Guess. I was super annoyed. That was that. The next weekend, I was wandering around Market Mall and there she stood...in all her beauty. That's right: a Guess store....and in N.W. Calgary...REALLY?!?!?! YES. I think I actually did a little jig in the middle of the mall - don't judge. I was at T-9 days for the sister's b day and I needed 8 of those 9 days to ensure she gets it on time in the mail. This Guess store had a tonne of things that I know my sis will love, and have I mentioned how much I love the location yet??? Yeah, you're right... I'm bustin' out the jig again.

Guess fr me is hit and miss, as I tend to find them a little pricey, but they do have stuff that is worth it. I was greeted by a guy, I wish I had got his name. He was tall, dark and handsome, all you need to know. He picked out perfect things that I would like, was very attentive, not in an bad way, just the right amount. I had planned on buying a top, but my wifey told me they have the most amazing skinny jeans, and there was a pair of super cool black and white ones. And let me tell you, they are AH-MAH-ZING!!! They're $130, which isn't too bad, but for a funky pair par you can't always wear...meh. They're awesome, so it's ok. Lots of selection, great pieces and colors and friendly staff.

The outlet is a rather different experience from the downtown Brooks Brothers location…read more Well-dressed, eloquent sales people who knows their product inside and out are much harder to find. The store and fitting rooms are not nearly as clean, nor as well organized, however the prices generally make up for that. Of note, the majority of what the outlet sells is a different label and product than the regular store, denoted by the numbers in the logo on the tag. A lot of clothing is specifically made for the outlet. There are, however, on occasion sales that make sorting through overstuffed, unorganized racks of clothing completely worthwhile, as you can pick up $100 shirts for $15! (This is a rare and special breed of sale!) You are best armed with your own knowledge heading in, such as the colours on the labels and which fits they denote, as the sales staff probably doesn't know the difference between the pink and the green labels, but they are entirely different fits. My opinion of this store is that it needs to be kept cleaner and better organized, in order to avoid tarnishing the Brooks Brothers brand. That said, I will continue to shop there, with the prices I have seen.

They were well versed in what was on the floor and able to pull a larger size from the back of an item I wanted to try. All well organized and tidy. Lots of super feminine looks, which is what I'm after. Absolutely worth a stop by for something not at every store. Prices were totally reasonable too. And not everything was polyester, which is so often the case these days.

I didn't know exactly what I had in mind so instead of ordering online going to a store with a good selection seemed like the right call - super glad I came here! I got a very cute fake leather jacket for over my dress and they have a ton of hair pin/clip options - and were very patient while I looked through them all :) In fact, the staff were the perfect level of attentiveness (i.e., left my mum and I to browse and chat until we had questions, and then were very helpful and made sure we were happy with our final choices). The only downside to the store is that it's super small, and therefore can feel a bit cramped when there are more than a couple of shoppers in it. So I'd recommend trying to go on a weekday morning if you can!

I had not been into a Reitmans in maybe 15 years, walked in and walked out at that point as I thought the clothes were a bit too old for me. Not anymore!!! They are really on the ball there regarding latest trends and had some amazing looking things of good quality. The Fall line up is in but they are still clearing out summer stuff like crazy so you know where to come for bargains! The store was not too busy mid-day and the staff were very friendly and of course greet you when you come in. Trying on clothes was a breeze too. I would have stayed in a lot longer had I not had an appointment this afternoon but I did manage to buy 1 top. Wore it for just a few hours and got 4 compliments on it! Shall return! They have a wicked selection of boots and booties to check out!

I buy all of my greeting cards here...they have a huge selection! The funniest cards, though, are always tucked away in the back left corner in the "adult" room...adult humour abounds!

I love this store and it's sister store Heavenly Outhouse- which has nothing to do with bathrooms…read moreany longer. With it's eclectic merchandise there is always something of interest. The selection of greeting cards is especially impressive. Heavenly Outhouse does have a small selection of women's clothing. These 2 stores are the reason I make a trip to Cochrane on a regular basis.
