Whenever we're in Puerto Vallarta, Salud Superfood is a must-stop; it's one of those places that…read moremanages to be both genuinely healthy and genuinely delicious; not an easy balance, but they nail it nevertheless. This visit, we kept things simple and it paid off. The oatmeal with berries was comforting and well-balanced; not overly sweet, just fresh and satisfying. We also had their spiced tea with turmeric, cinnamon, cloves, and other warming spices. It felt almost medicinal in the best way; soothing, fragrant, and exactly what you want to start your day. Hubbs ordered the breakfast burrito with a side of fruit, and it was just as good as it looked. Hearty, flavorful, and filling without feeling heavy. I got the lentil soup, which I appreciated for being more broth-based with whole lentils instead of the usual purée. It had great texture, was deeply satisfying, and easily held its own as a full meal. The vibe is always relaxed with the friendliest servers in town, the food is thoughtful created, and the location right in the heart of the market makes it an easy stop while exploring. This spot is consistently good, consistently fresh; we'll absolutely keep coming back every time!
