From the moment you step into La Scala you'll feel Italy running through your veins. The walls are decorated with Venetian masks, and paintings from the old country have a life of their own. If you step into the older part of the restaurant you may even think that you're in Italy!
After having had my fair share of food at La Scala, I can't doubt the quality. I've been happy with every meal (and I don't say that often!). The menu is peppered with it's old-time favourites such as the Spaghetti Cape Sante and the Veal alla Scala (not for the feint hearted) and also, a selection of changing specials.
If you're into deserts then the gorgeously layered Strawberry Princess will make the most macho of guys giggle! If you like your chocolate, there's the "Chocogasm", which will surely challenge any die-hard chocolate addict to finish the assorted plate.
As for service, it's a friendly and welcoming environment and once the staff get to know you, you'll just start to feel at home. read more
