Knokke is a cute little coastal beach town and we were there in the spring when the weather is not so nice but luckily we were able to get a table without a wait as surely this place would be packed during peak season. All 4 of my colleagues went for the beef tartare which looked good - and they said it was done really well but to me it just looked like beef mince on a plate. I ordered the lamb chops and it was delicious! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. They had a really good selection of desserts but of course I had to try something I normally couldn't. I had the ice cream with advocaat - which is like a liqueur. The ice cream was creamy and delicious but thought the liqueur was a bit strong! Huge portion of it actually so only ate the best bits. Dunno if I'd come back to Knokke but if I do I'd definitely want to come back here for dinner.

The Chef attended one of Belgium's top culinary schools in Kokzijde and you get great quality, delicious and beautifully presented food. The a la carte dishes are wonderful, both the fish, meat and salad dishes, some original dishes and also Belgian/French classics but always with refinement and full of taste. All days but Sundays and holidays P'tit Chef serves a lunch menu and they also have a nice daily menu, great value for the top quality food you get. Many locals frequent this restaurant and you also tend to see familiar faces of those visiting Knokke and coming back to P'tit Chef. Highly recommended if you want to escape some of the standard touristy restaurants on the boardwalk of Knokke and finally get a great meal in town!
