It's wonderful! This restaurant is tucked nicely away high atop the old city streets of Salobrena. Parking is tough so a cab is recommended but if you have a small car you will find somewhere to tuck it away. This is a very quaint place with half indoor and half terrace seating. On the terrace you have a glorious Birdseye view of everything - the coast and the castle. The restaurant's decor is modern / chic with an upscale vibe. The service is spectacular and everyone was extremely pleasant. The menu is a manageable size and the prices are reasonable. You have a choice of some salads, some appetizers, and some mains. The food varietal is interesting, one I would say is Asian fusion with a hint of Spanish flare. So, to take a break from all things Mediterranean, this one is it. We shared the ensalada berberisca, la munescas de samosas, una de ocho, and the saltado Nikkei. I thought that was a perfect amount for us. Our daughter had the gyozas. Everything was presented with careful attention to detail, and was extremely pleasing to the eye. The salad was fresh and vibrant. The la munescas de samosas were crisp and chewy all at the same time and were filled with a tasty blend of spinach and prawns. They were hot, so don't bite into them too fast! The una de ocho (octopus and hummus) was good but not our favorite. I can see this dish because octopus is a local favorite, but I feel like I missed out on the rest of the menu (the parts of the menu that journey to a different realm). Last, was the saltado Nikkei, which was beef sautéed with leeks and ginger. But it was not that simple. There was so much going on in this dish, I just couldn't get enough of it. The beef was tender and flavorful. The vegetables crisp and fresh. Nothing was lost on this one. Then we topped it off with a couple of desserts (not the frozen type but ones that were clearly crafted in house). It was all perfectly splendid. This restaurant is unique in the area and a truly impressive culinary experience. You must give it a try or, trust me, you missed out. read more
