If you love pizza and want to try something different, check out La Rambla! It's a great place located near the Abbazia di Morimondo, open for lunch and dinner on the weekends and for dinner in the evenings. Pinsa is a very early form of pizza, with a dough that is lighter (and therefore healthier?) than pizza as we know it today. The menu here is short but you can try some unique flavor combinations as well as traditional. I really enjoyed the "Gran Via" made with pumpkin cream, rosemary and fresh cheese. Also really good was the "Morimondo" with fior di latte, walnuts, pear and gorgonzola. Selection of craft beers and local wines are offered as well...try the sparkling red! read more
