We got the: - Fisherman Platter: Fried seafood goodness. The fry wasn't overly oily and the batter not overly thick. The seafood itself also tasted fresh enough. A bit pricey at $1i, but good enough to share. - Seafood Chowder: Chowder was really creamy, and good enough chunks of seafood. Again, a tad pricey at $7.50 bit pretty good for a cool fall day. - Banana Split Square: Whoa that was surprisingly good. Tasted like a banana cream pie, with cherries to make it like a split. Enjoyed that more than expected. - Chocolate Peanut Butter Ball: Smooth peanut butter filling that I could eat for days. If you're in the area and need a bite to eat, Chez Wes is worth a try.

I thought it was me so I asked my date to try it and she said that she could smell it and taste it I couldn't eat it. The hot hamburger was a patty that was boiled and then put on the grill. You could taste it it had like different taste from everything that they had on the grill. The presentation of the food looked good until you've got to eat it and it was awful. I complained to the server and asked if I could get a bacon and tomato sandwich and I never seen the sandwich they just took care of everybody else and they have a drive-through there so beware the food is like awful.

Love this place! Hope one day they will be open year round…read more Everything is just great. Pizza, poutines, galvaudes, clubs, and the burgers are just what you need and want. Some of the salads are odd and I do agree with the other reviewer that the poutines can sometimes be dry.

It's sad that they are only seasonal, but good for my waistline…read more The pizza is great, the burgers are just the greasy, gooey, oniony, bacony goodness you're looking for. The poutines are unfortunately a little dry, so it's best to opt for another variant of the poutine, like the galvaude, or ask for extra sauce. It's also unfortunate that not every cook is consistant with one another, but to someone who isn't a regular, it won't make much of a difference. Definately worth eating here!

They had a menu that has a very large offering of selection with 4 daily specials. I had decided that where I was I needed to try the Shrimp sandwich (as in the Gaspe region shrimp is 'a plenty!) Man - o man...what came out was a very generous portion of shrimp sandwich with little Matane-style shrimp overflowing! It had a nice tartar style sauce on the bun and I switched the fries for a house salad. I'm a true believer in testing out the local menu dishes and this delivered the ticket! Service was efficient, attentive and sincere. I'd come back anytime.

The menu was a fairly simple selection of breakfast and lunch dishes. Nothing overly complicated just your basic choices of soup, salads, sandwiches, poutine, spaghetti and some seafood dishes. As we ate at around 2 pm I decided on an onion soup and a BLT sandwich. Nothing heavy, but something satisfying and light. The onion soul was how OS should taste with melted cheese on top and the BLT was perfect! Fresh and light tasting! This restaurant is attached to a garage really giving it a cool old town feel. Decor was tasteful, comfortable and you could tell the owners put some thought in the place to make it feel welcoming! Definitely a great place to visit while on holidays or stopping by!
