So I says to myself, "I am not going all the way across town to Vallarta for some ok meat." I type in "carniceria near me" into Google, and I find this wonderful little section of home. Where I'm from, there are various small carnicerías that are family owned and make some bomb salsa and marinades. This place was just that! I purchased a pound of al pastor for tacos, got their fresh red salsa, some onions, and avocado. The pastor was amazing! My whole apartment smelled delicious for the rest of the afternoon. The red salsa wasn't as spicy as I was expecting, but it worked out because my wife is breastfeeding. (One week later: OMG this salsa aged well and has my nose running! ) the produce was fresh and ready to use as well!
