But even more amazing (to me) was the side salad! Roasted, tri-color veggies and marinated eggplant with an assortment of lettuces and arugula - it knocked my socks off! My companions shared the fondue for two and I liked it even better than the tartiflette because the flavor with the wine was even better IMO. It came with incredibly delicious cuts of charcuterie, bread and potatoes. For dessert, we had to go light: lemon and blueberry sorbet. And final comment: as the French are not known to accept the idea of doggy bags, I was impressed when the owner cleaned out a container just to pack up my to-go items (which were still delish the next day!) It's a perfect little spot with lots of amazing choices on the menu so you'll always find something that you like on there! My two favorite dishes on the menu are local specialities. If you are going to get raclette anywhere, this is the place to get it! Why you ask? The presentation! Their raclette heater is beyond beautiful! But enough about the heater, the cheese is fantastic and paired with their huge charcuterie platter and big bowl of potatoes and big bowl of salad it is absolute perfection! If you don't feel like you need to be rolled out of there, you didn't do it right! They give you a huge amount of cheese and so much meat to keep you busy. I also highly recommend their fondue. The fondue here is perfect in every single way. The keep an eye out to make sure the fire isn't too hot and burning the cheese and not getting too cold at the same time. If I remember correctly they use three different cheeses in their fondue so the flavor is spot on! We did fondue delivery from another place a week before and this fondue kicked it's butt! I shared this with my mother and when we got the pot, we thought they gave us way too much cheese but we managed to finish the whole pot it was that good! This is a great local spot and I would recommend it to any one in the area. Cozy up next to the fireplace, enjoy some wine and a nice raclette and you'll be one happy person! The family-run business has lovely staff and we had a very nice evening. The only drawback would be that they also do take-aways (pizzas for example) and you end up sitting in the middle of a long queue with constant people passing by, hence the 4 stars only. If they could work out a specific area to collect all take-aways, away from the actual people sitting at the restaurant trying to enjoy a lovely dinner, this would be much better!
