I stayed in Merida for 2 days and 1 night and ran out of things to do. I was heading back to my hotel when I saw La Plaza de DIA, which was only a few minutes away from Hotel Velada Merida. We decided to pop in for a bit and kill some time. It's a pretty big supermarket, which is fitting since Merida is not cluttered with people/buildings. You can pretty much get anything you'd expect to find in a supermarket here. There's a huge section dedicated to baby essentials and female hygiene. They had a mini bakery section with pastries and bread. There's a poultry and seafood part in the market, and also aisles of snacks and drinks.
